      I agree ! Although most lists divide the TV eras 20th Century versus 21 the Sopranos does make Number one on a lot of them . Hard to believe Robert Iler who played Tony’s son is the same age as James Gandolifini when he debuted with the role .

      @dagnabbit6187 AJ became a very annoying character in the latter series. I always hoped he'd get taken out!!! But by far the most annoying character of the entire show was Father Phil. What an arse he was

    • @dagnabbit6187
      @dagnabbit6187 Месяц назад +2

      @@clem1149 Interesting . From what I always gathered from my fellow Soprano fan family , Janice was the most despised character . My personal least favorite was Paulie Walnuts because he was a Teflon coated eff up and true to life in my experiences . Now towards the end of the series Paulie’s stock was going down as the crew started seeing what a psychotic liability he really was and they all figured out he was the leak of that Ginny Sacs joke . As one Soprano fan described Paulie Walnuts “ Most of us can talk out 2 sides of our mouth . Paulie could talk out five ! “ Now as for Janice , I missed something my first go around with the Sopranos . Her fiancé Richie Aprille was about to just lay low and go into hibernation with coup on Tony but Janice started henpecking him to not do it and go for the brass ring . When I saw that all sympathy was over with Janice and she deserved every bit of razzing she got from Tony including that ugly Harpo scene at dinner . Of course Tony was probably unaware of just how much Janice was involved in the up and coming coup but it didn’t matter . Yes Janice was pretty vile but then again she did eliminate the evil Richie .

      Your remark was about The Soparanos being the best TV Show of al times, but the comments on this Thread are all about the Characters on the show who they liked the least.
      I would defintely put The Sopranos as one of the greatest TV Shows of all Time. But I would give the BEst TV Show of All Time to Star Trek and it=s various.
      TOS Star Trek itself may not be the greatest show of all time, but it inspired 4 Broadcast Spin Off TV Series and several other non Broadcast TV Shows ( I personally despise the first CBS All Access Series- STar Trek: Discovery and so do most Star Trek fans, but that is a different story) as well as numerous Movie and even 3 Reboot Movies.
      For that influence, I would put in Star Trek as the Greatest TV Show of all time.

    This show wasn’t written well. A lot of the stories just fizzled out. The Wire was a much better story
