The line could have blocked a lot better. And the receivers need to catch passes

I'm a Brady fan and even I can admit this guy is going to have an absolutely stellar career, it wasn't til there were 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter that I was ready to admit the game was out of reach, just out of pure respect for Mahomes, not Kelce or Hill(though they're both fantastic at their own positions). I'm not worried about him at all, he had a back up O-line and an injured toe that needs surgery, that won't be the case hopefully next year. Sky's the limit for this kid, he's special.

@Man Of Chai Tea Definitely the 49ers got the short end of the stick last year. Chiefs definitely deserved those penalties but to be fair there were several times when both Kelce and Hill got held and interfered with and there were no calls. Just wish the officials could be a little better all around.

Unless he wins league MVP again next season or SB MVP next season. Then he can match Brady with 4 seasons. 3 seasons isnt enough longevity or achievements.

He throw a pass nearly 30 yards on a rope while airborne parallel to the ground and hit his receiver right in his hands only for the guy to drop the TD. The only "mistakes" he made was when he set his feet. Once he made that "mistake" it was a sack.

Patrick Mahomes might very well be the best qb in the nfl today but, QBs make spectacular throws every week. Mahomes completes q wobbly left handed throw for 3 yards and Tony Romo has the audacity to say it’s “incredible” “what can’t he do Jim?” I can throw a football 20 yards down field with my off hand and I never had arm talent even with my “throwing arm” the side arm throws, every QB makes side arm throws. He an incredible arm strength and the Chiefs happen to have the fastest wideouts who can run the ball down. I’m a Chargers fan, and At some point, Eddie Royal who was pretty fast was part of the team, he has to slow down and sometimes run back to catch the pass on deep throws. Patrick doesn’t have that problem. Justin Herbert had some incredible throws and they never made ESPNs top ten plays. Not that it matters, not to me anyways but it shows you the media has overhyped Mahomes. He’s a great qb but not anywhere near the greatest to ever play

Darrel and Tyreeks drops are blatant. Pringles was difficult but Antoine shoved pringle when he was near the goal post on that play, I'd have to see the play from a different POV to be sure it was a penalty tho. He would've got there on time if that didn't happen. Robinson dropped one too
The thing is, 3 of those were on the same drive. So itd be 2 TDs. However, when Mathieu hot the INT called back it was an awful call. The worst of the night, there was no holding and KC would've gotten in field goal range. Mahomes could've gotten a 3rd TD there.

I feel like in 3 playoffs he went to he's been average. First time AFC Championship game lost to Brady in OT then he won against 49ers which he won but was down most of that game and if SF had a better QB they wouldn't have lost that game. Then Sunday he lost horribly to Brady again so idk if he's overhyped but he isn't as unbeatable as people think he is. Steelers and saints wouldnt have that same gameplan and chiefs would have found ways to beat them because of their qb mishaps
