There once was an ugly duckling …… 18 months from now this will be the top selling adventure bike like it or not. My current 1250 GSA will look dated …… so …. I’ve ordered the new 1300 GSA.
I hope it will be released globally as soon as possible. We are eagerly waiting for BMW R1300GS ADV after selling the Gold Wing we were riding. This is South Korea.

Such an ugly bike...are those two huge " holes" in the side to pack a suitcase, or keep the extension cord for the generator- fuel tank, while your coffee cools on the tank shelf😂. Ridiculous.... It's officially the ugliest bike i have seen in a long time....New models leave me cold.
I dunno- they could just be in their own world. When they walk past would be the ideal time to cut to another shot of the bike, then it would be as though they weren’t there.

This looks way better than the Standard GS1300. It would be between the R1250 and this for me, whichever was nicest to ride. The range of the Adventure may also swing it.
So much small holes and hooks, even if you would like the blocky design, it may be difficult to clean if you went into some dirt 😢 the black and the green option are looking better but it does not make them more easy to clean 😅
Love the green and gold look. Perhaps BMW paying respect to how Australia managed to do so well at the Olympics especially considering how low our population is compared to the countries that finished above and below. We should get a similar result with the parallel one soon to start! 😁
The only issue that concerns me on this bike is the lack of a PROPER tail light. I’m not sure how BMW can add all the radar features for safety but then remove the main tail/stop light and instead use multifunction indicators which in use are far less efficient as a means of warning following drivers of a decrease in speed . Nice one for Denali though as they will be selling a lot of their rear brake light kits . Poor decision by BMW as it means we have to spend additional cash to frankly make the new R1300GS/A as safe as the old R1250GS/A
Nice one. I just peaked in to BMW Welt in Munich and they still did not have one on display. Indeed this colour is the most impressive - one where I can forget seeing a giant key fob as the tank. I'd let go of the gold rims (cleaning those must be a nightmare) and stay with black. That would make it a bit meaner and less funky. Still hesitate between this or a black MS Rally, though ... 🤔
the forged enduro wheels for the 1300GS are a good option for easier cleaning vs spokes. Not sure if they fit the new GSA... a few videos are on YT about them if interested
If you look from the side, it looks okay. But when you came to the front.... that front part have a "disconnect" kind a vibes from the main design, like you came from boxy, to sharp pointy design, doesn't suit that well
Nah. I'm good with the standard GS. This bike doesn't consume gas like the thirsty Multi V4 that you actually need a 30L tank. Plus this new GSA already looks (and actually) heavy even on a standstill LOL.
Nobody is talking about this but the BMW ASA video seems to show that the H/B buttons are lighted! Have you asked BMW if this is a feature of the new GSA?

Just priced a regular non adventure as it’s not on the U.S. site yet and after luggage, 719 packages, various other packages and accessories and if was $32k so the price of a compact SUV here so…. I’ll pass. More interested in the new Can Am Canyon “adventure” trike at that price or you know a Ford Maverick truck.

I have never ever seen so many beautiful and interesting details adding up to such an ugly bike as a whole! Couldn't care less about the automatic gear shifting and some of its other electronic gimmicks. The Akrapovic exhaust looks stunning, though.
Wonder if the auto change is like they're quick shifter , cos that was trash on my 1250. Id take my Triumph 900 GT pro over this lard arse monstrosity any day, and at half the price.

Incredible looking machine. Huge road presence and still, after all these years, the benchmark for all-road long distance adventure touring.
Cept most GS' just end up at the local Starbucks and the vast majority sees about 1% off-road use. Truly the SUV of the motorcycling world.

The new 1300GS looks like a tough bike to clean. I see a lot of tight gaps where dirt can get in but fingers cannot.
