I've gone through almost all your previous videos and came back to this first video once again. I remember when I first got my 1.6, it sounded like this. Overtime I tried many different combinations. I think my best option was pairing Cary Pre-Amp with a powerful solid state amp. Years later, I upgraded to 3.5R and paired it with different tube pre-amp, such as Sonic Frontiers, Cary, and Audio Research. I was never satisfied with the sound. But during covid I went all out and got a new active 3-way x-over. Then I upgraded the pre-amp with Coincidence tube. For amps, I use Pass Lab for the mid / high. For mid-bass panel, I use a pair of mono-block digital amps. For subs, I have a pair of REL. Also upgraded the turntable with Brinkmann with Allnic Phono stage. And my system is now very enjoyable.
Lately I have been wanting to get a pair of chaper speakers with my left-over gears. I feel nostagic of speakers that I once lust over, such as Grand Piano from your videos, B&W 700, 600, and even 800 series. Any recommendations? I like really good sounding highs and good vocals. I have some extra components I can pair them with.
Thanks for sharing your videos. I really enjoy watching them!

Hi, first of all, thanks for the comments. The truth is that I uploaded videos I took when I had little time for myself in listening sessions to enjoy, relax, and share with people who have the same hobby, that way when we chat about certain items I can show and explain my experience to them, and also I'm building an inventory of what I have available to keep on testing different setups.
If you like vocals, high "airly" quality, and "finesse", relaxed, high-quality sound, I'll recommend Bowers and Wilkins Concerto, the kef LS50, and the Bowers and Wilkins Formation in my experience.
JBL L100 are good as well but, they got me a little "fatigued" after one álbum. It all depends on your hearing system characteristics I guess.
I like B&O Penta but the size, height, and position, sometimes make me lose focus.
Vandersteen 2Ce MK III Signature and KEF 150 are "Robust" in a good way, but not as refined as the first 3 I mention. Etcétera.
This is just my opinion in some of my gear that I'm very sure that people will agree and disagree and that's good, we have to keep an open mind to achieve the best out of this hobby.
