Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"

Jessie's heart warmed over completely @ 4:34 when she sees that Stephen has a really great voice. She had no idea it looks like. Seeing that surprise on her face is worth every minute of this video.

it was very lovely and not to take anything away from jessie but it was legit just the thirds above and below, aka the most basic harmony possible!
I dont find harmonizing hard. I just need to know the melody of the song and I can create a harmony on the spot

Beau Bentley she's a sweetheart. Met her twice and both times she was super nice.
this past november my school's theater program had a NYC trip to see Waitress. Afterwards we had a talkback session with some crew members (we were told that it was just crew related, no actors). After a while, Charity and Caitlin came out, later followed by Drew and then Jessie (who sat in front of me). They talked to us for a while, answered questions, and overall were just really nice. An amazing experience.
My absolute favorite actress on Broadway. She's amazing.

Stephen you really paint a great picture of NYC life and culture almost every night. It warms my heart and makes me reminisce about the few months I've spent there throughout the years. Your doing the city of New York a service that will be remembered for a long time. Hopefully I'll make it to a show when I come down from Canada.

I wish I could harmonize. How do people just do it on the spot like that? It blows my mind.
I felt the saaaaaame way like a year ago but if you just keep practicing, eventually you don't even have to think about it it'll come so naturally
(I recommend starting with harmonising with the songs you listen to everyday, just whenever you play a song just try to figure out the harmony and sing along and it doesn't matter if you don't get it at first you will eventually xx) good luck :)

I just clicked on this vid because of the pie... now I'm intrigued... who is this beautiful, charming girl with a badass vibe and a great voice, and why is she not winning Oscars and Emmys yet!
She actually was on TV this year - she had a -very- small role on The Family - but her love is theatre. She actually comes from an acting family, they're all very popular in the Chicago theatre scene. Her parents both act, and her three siblings are all working actors as well. Just really good, salt of the earth people with a tremendous amount of talent!
She was in a movie recently (with Meryl Streep, no singing) and she will be in a TV show as Loretta Lynn with Megan Hilty as Patsy Cline, or vice versa
It blew my mind that they bake a pie in the lobby of the theatre for every show!!! I definitely smelled it when I saw the show last week! Talking about an immersive theatre experience!!!

She's so adorable :3 I never really got into Carolyn King's music, but I do really enjoy what parts of Beautiful I've heard and the Tony performances I saw back when she was still doing the show, and same with Waitress. She absolutely killed it at the Tonys; Mueller seems like she has such an impressive range of emotional expression in the characters she plays. I hope I get to see her perform live one day!
