I'm so so sorry for your loss. It sounds as if you really and truly loved your wife. I'm long divorced from a husband that didn't love me and now that I'm old I'm sometimes actually OK with being alone because not having to go through the pain of having shared a good married life with someone and losing them has shielded me from the grief that must come from that level of loss. It must be really difficult. I had a highschool boyfriend die in a tragic car accident, we never lived together, but we loved one another. He was in college and I was in my senior year of HS when he died. I still think about him often and what might have been. I think I understand your heart and I feel real empathy for you. It sounds as if you were blessed to have found the one for you. I'm glad you have this song to reflect on what was. The song that makes me remember my boyfriend is Our House. He used to play that and tell me how our lives would be and paint this picture of our future in my brain and heart, such a clear picture of how our lives would be together. It was so awful when he died and all that was gone. It must be even worse to have had those sorts of dreams, had many of then come true and then lose the person you'd built a life with and built your life around. It's both beautiful and tragic at the same time. Losing my boyfriend before our lives together could truly start was really difficult, it changed my life and not for the better at that time. Don't let your loss alter your life in negative ways if you can help it. Stay strong. I hope what I've said is OK.

I was determined to help get my daddy healthy. I could care less for the $$$ I would lose by leaving. $$$ means NOTHING in front of your family, especially your dad who protected you all your life. Others "poison" their parents for $$$$. DEGENERATES. I will always love you, daddy. 😙
And yet, there are DEMENTED MONSTERS OUT THERE WHO HAVE NO respect for their dad or mom. But KARMA Is SO SWEET! The monster's kids TURN OUT TO BE ANOMALIES.
The Love of my Life had a Brain anyrosum stroke , She was in a Coma for a while….Now she just recently woke up…..She is still in healing….she is still in a semi vegetatied state….😢I Play this song 🎶 for her over and over at her Hospital bed….till she will truly Heal and wake up in Gods name. 😔🙏

This was playing on the radio, and her passing brought me here. I knew her over half my life. Can we continue the meds until 3 when her friend from when she was 10 shows up ? Then, the meds stopped, the BP decreased, heart rate decreased, I could see the pulse in her neck, then it stopped. Her suffering is over. But this day sucks.
Watched the movie Disobedience where this song was used to charge a scene where two women rekindle their love for each other . . . loved the melody and the way the singer renders the lyrics, charging words with emotion effortlessly ... had a terrific effect on me and brought me here to the original recording of this song ... love your upload ...
