Man ain't that the truth! Been busting up maple for a few days solid now and I got a lot of pretty dang scary things goin on at this time in life but when I'm getting it done at the wood pile everything stressful seems to be greatly reileived. So good for the body mentally and physically

@@dannymcelyea2596 Amen to that bud. I have three little ones running around at home. The oldest one is three, the middle one is a year and a half and the youngest is eight months old. We have a fourth one coming this August. Needless to say our hands are full, so it is nice to go out to the wood pile after I get all them down to bed, or during naptime, and swing the axe for a little bit!

This brings back a lot of memories, back in the days my Dad, my brother and l split all our wood like this, we didn't have a wood splitter. Some where so big we had to use wedges, if it was hard wood , sometimes the wedges would fly back out at us! My Dad and brother have past, I thank you my brother for this video, it brought back some very good memories, love your videos!!

Splitting wood right there where you felled the tree is the best way to save a lot of work. It's the way I do it. I tried to tell that to the Wranglestar guy and he didn't reply to my comment yet he replied to all other comments under that video. He loaded the round wood onto a trailer and brought it back to his back yard, unloaded it, and stacked it. He then brought his wood splitter out, split the wood and stacked it again. Then he trailered it or carried it into his shed and stacked it yet again! Way too much work. Way too much handling. When you split it on site you trailer it home and put it away. That's it. Thanks for another great video. Oh, and nice axe!

Nice Weather, today. , so I decided to make some Firewood. Considering taking the husky 61 , but instead took splitting hammer, and a nice axe that I restored, and went of to action. but now I see that I made a 3rd of that what Buckin did in far less time with ease . So blamed my low performance on me, my axe, and the wood :). , seriously I think I need to satisfy my tool addiction and get me a woodbullet :). , thanks for inspiring , thanks for sharing, thanks for being positiv,

I like wood splitting as well. I do it not everyday and I don’t need that much wood by myself BUT I do it for people (even unknown) who are not able doing it by themselves anymore. Not because I’m after the reward -I’m an Egoist; but I do it because I love doing it - and if helps others as well, even better. 😜. No seriously, I like working with wood in all phases and dimension and I love people (most of them). I think doing something physical with you hands makes you a better human and fights the mental destruction of only doing virtual things in life. Feeling your muscles after splitting a pile of wood in the evening makes me feel alive!
