I just picked up a sporterized Springfield 1903 from 1911 and I want to bring it back to orignal military configuration. I live in Canada so it won't be easy to get all the parts put I'm the same with a new preproduction stuff, I just need original pars (don't care about the screws being new). Great video series, I will be watching all the videos.
@ 3.23 Sarco and Numrich are different companies, Very different companies! Numrich is also known as Gun Parts Corporation and sells generally very good parts for most everything. Sarco usually has a variety of parts kits and parts for a lot of old guns but leans more towards old military weapons. Sarco's parts very from very good/excellent to crap that you can barely make work. In general, if you get a really bad part from Sarco, they will swap it for a more serviceable part. I don't think crappy parts are intentionally sent, I believe they just have some not so stellar employees working in the warehouse. I enjoy your videos. Take Care and be safe, John
A year late, but thanks for sharing. i've shot em but not owned em. The M1's, US1917's, Cal. .30 Carbine-M1, M14/1a, and the black rifle, i've owned, still have some. Getting ready to pick up my first 03a3, and already thinking about building myself a 03a4. Anyway, thanks much.
Skill is the primary thing here. I know this will be a fun one. It always peaks my interest in doing a build. Hope you will indicate where correct specifications and such can be located. Yes I'm looking, and Cheap to.
Nov 29 2021 i just picked up my 4th 1903A3 2 were inherited the 3rd i bought at a estate sale now the 4th i picked up a local gun shop get this 200 bucks I'll drop it off at another gun shop for a total restoration job it has a Remington barrel and a National Arms receiver the stock in good condition upper forearm not so much I wish I had the time and patience to do the job myself I like your video you gave me good info on parts if i need them this will be a shooter would like to put a WW2 era scope on it THANKS
I am just getting back into building and fixing guns. I am very interested in seeing how to cut the barrel without a lathe. I may decide to do this one as I have lots and lots of Ball 30-06 ammo and 30-06 brass in the thousands. I've only got one 30-06 rifle though. I really enjoy your content. It's easy to understand and you carry yourself with a high level of professionalism.
This is amazing. Its so neat that they had those lines to aline the barrel to the reciever. I would love moke to see a Cetme bulid, oh wait you kind of did it with the mp5. Still would be helpful though
Oh I just was watching one of your old videos and was informed you have a cetme parts kit. You said its been in pain in the anus, but I would love to see a seris on one!
I'm excited. Would it be easier to start off a cut down rifle that has all the correct bottom metal and just needs a stock, barrel, handguard, front sight, and front metal?
I know the feeling, was fired while Marley was in nursing school so I ended moving a bunch of guns to make sure bills were paid. One day I'll buy another Elcan.
Hello. My apologies for bothering you. I am doing my final project and i have chosen to do a 1903 Springfield and i desperate need the dimensions for all the pieces. Would it be possible for you to offer me the necessary dimensions? Or some blue prints or drawings you have? I would appreciate it a lot
Can't wait for the build series! Definitely do a Garand after!
I need to find that parts for it.

Awesome! I did a 03A3 Build a couple Years ago, alot of fun and A great experience!
Did you find any reference online showing you how? Just curious.
Wait. What we can build our own 1903A3. That’s awesome.
This is on my bucket list of builds for sure! I've never seen one built on the tube, however. Awesome!
Awesome man!! Love it. Excited to learn
Morning P
Sounds like a great build
Thanks again for sharing

If you have an M1 Garand receiver, pick up a BM59 kit and build one up. That's pretty much the only way to build one anyway.
I was seriously contemplating that!
I’m definitely interested and excited

Oh and buy a few extra firing pins just in case.
I'm really lucky I own a 1903A3.

This is going to be a cool build. Thanks
Perfect, this is exactly what I was looking for. There is an auction coming up with all these parts, wanted to see what I needed

@@Awesomebongle I do have a kit sitting around that I need to build. It's on the docket for this year. I just need to get motivated.
Where do you get acraglas now? Brownells has been out for months. Also is the Cetme C or the PPS43 next?
I got it months ago.
@@BabyFaceP Is it out of production now?

Yeah a sporter would work well to rebuild.
As someone who had to sell their M1 Garand to afford rent in college. Please do that build, I miss my M1 and wish I could afford another

@@BabyFaceP that sucks! Did you get your kit from Sarco? I saw they have 1903 kits in now. They are like a 30 min drive for me.
@@Thecohostobviouzx Yup, Sarco 1903a3 small parts kit. Plan on picking up a 1911 kit at some point too to do a video on.
I wonder if anyone has done a build of a 1903A3 in .25-'06 Remington and kept it in military trim?
BTW, If history is correct, all 03a3 sniper rifles were 2 groove barrels. If this is true, this speaks well for the 2 groove barrel.
Classic 👍👍👍🙌🙌🙌❤❤❤
Now Sarco has original issued stocks for $85.
How work drill for springfield barrel in simple HD ..tnk you??? Me in malaysia
Hey Baby face, please do a review of the NPAP ak 47 , Thanks
I need to get one first.
@@BabyFaceP I live in Florida, you can use mine

I need a 4 groove to fix my sporterized A4 some idiot cut about an inch off the barrel
Can you do a mosin?
Nice
You need t-shirts that say in grease
I could tell you a cool story about a 03A3 out shooting a 3000$ rifle but the shooter of that high $ rifle thought he could buy skill .
Where did you find a stripped action? Can’t find one anywhere 😢
They dried up a couple of years back
Where did you find your barrel?
Is this why I can’t find a demilled 1903 for drill
They've all been swallowed up and remade. It a shame because they used to be dirt cheap.
where you get the wood?
Numrich
I can’t find the receiver for sale
Keep an eye out, they pop up from time to time. This build will give you an idea of how to do just about any bolt gun, not just an 03
👍
Do you want to sell me a receiver
