I'm so excited! Picked one up July the first and LOVE it! This gun is easy shooting and easy to clean. Accurate, Beretta reliable and FUN!

A quick question about cleaning the piston; with it extended, you can clean part of it, but how do I open the piston system to clean it completely, or is that not an issue with this system?

Sadly, the 300BLK barrel was never released. I was hoping it would be done, but Beretta never made it happen. 😓

Sounds like less magazine interchangeability. Doesn't sound like the ARX is compatible with the millions of PMags. ACR is compatible with many AR-15 trigger groups, at least if you reuse the ACR hammer spring (retains the safety detent), I'm not sure about the ARX trigger. I have a Geissele SSA-Enhanced trigger in my ACR.

I must admit that I generally think of Italian design as good-looking but not the best mechanical design. However Beretta has definitely changed my mind about that. This looks like an FN SCAR at half the price. I love the quick change barrel and caliber conversion options. I have the 22 LR version of this and even though it's made in Germany by a different company the ergonomics are great and it's a fantastic little 22 plinker. It's very accurate and very reliable even with a variety of ammunition.

I have already decided to buy one and 300 black out conversion kit. I am on at least 4 different wait lists and that's exactly what I'm doing...waiting. Any news regarding release?

  • @LarryC213

I'm looking at this in Dec. 2018 and there are NO barrel or caliber options mentioned on the Beretta USA website. This weapon does have a lot of appeal to me, but caliber conversion was/is at the top of the list, at least it is for me. Has that option gone away?

Saw the 10 and a half inch barrel kit on their website like 2 weeks ago, put it in my cart so I could find it easily. Went back on their website to see my cart was empty. Now I can't find it anywhere. And the websites that do have them charge what I could buy an entire rifle with... not to mention it doesn't come with the carrying case and extra 30 round magazine. Like the original SBR kit from Beretta.

  • @Untranslate
    @Untranslate 11 лет назад

The barrel change is impressive but changing from 223/556 to 300BLK isnt. How about a change to 7.62 or 5.45?
I like the ambidexterity and ejection change since im lefty. I just hope the quick change doesnt sacrifice durability. Hand dominance doesnt change much. All the plastic make it ugle as hell. They need to trim some off infront of the mag well not every one likes that angled forward grip. Is it the mag or does the mag well to deep. Maybe sand color would help with the ugly.

I'm considering a Tavor this year, but the ARX100 looks pretty damn nice so far. I love the feature set.
    Questions are:
    Price?
    Price for additional barrels?
    Empty weight?

    Dear Beretta (USA?),
    Sling QD sockets.
No grenade launcher rail, 1913 spec only.
    Slimmer, longer forend pleaseeeee.
No sling loop on gas block.
    Totally free floating barrel.
    Suppressed gas setting/more adjustment.
Lower height (and profile?) backup irons.
Longer stock, to max of 14-15 inches LOP.
    Easier/less stiffness in fire selector.
Metal trigger/hammer sear engagement, or offer metal replacement parts with ~6-8lb break.
    Make a pistol version.
Can we haz 300BO barrel plz?
60 degree throw selector, offer from factory or available online.
Most of these are EASY. CZ USA knows it has to modify the Bren 805 and following variants to these things to satisfy US civilian market, which is currently extremely bored, with Bren probably leading the way for new things.
I own an ARX100, and am willing to spend money on a lighter trigger (not the only aftermarket $300 one), lighter fire selector, shorter throw fire selector, longer extending stock piece, pistol butt plate brace adapter for AR tube.
This is why these rifles are having to be CLEARANCED by large sellers for $800....
I understand a LOT has become standard/expected/best practice since the ARX was developed, but pleaseeee modernize it a bit.

@@cavscout888 Scar is an over priced and over rated turd...I sold mine first year they were out after taking it apart to look inside without even firing it...what a joke....same basic bolt setup as AR15, but 400% more to replace...piston that build up varnish after seeing other Scars later...gas rings on AR $2 a bag..on the SCAR $12 each....stock breaks under heavy use. stock rattles which can get you killed in combat night patrol, not that accurate, receivers crack on the 308 models easy...FN will not replace...lack of parts...long wait.....if the SCAR was $1200 maybe, but $2500 what a crock of crap....the ARX is far better...does not need more "modular"...take it or leave it as is.....great engineering...only issue are the shit sights, easy to replace.....
