@11:45 Edified Gamer, you didn’t know? On the Centrifugal campaign mod, enemy battleships can double as a submersible boats as well. It was quite an ingenious invention.
Ha ha no they kept that hidden well. Clearly startled this one.
The escort ships you encountered with your main fleet actually had some decent firepower, the Flores-class gun boat had 3x 150mm guns and the Grimsby-class Sloop with 4.7" guns. Once again, never underestimate how much hate any ship can throw at you in a short span of time, the IJN isn't designed to trade blows. Also, Mikuma is definitely returning home with that destroyed propeller and funnel, speed is very important in staying alive in a very confined theater.
On another note, I find the King George V class Battleship in this mod rather... underwhelming. I wonder what the specifications of the ship are in the mod. Still, I'd want to command one in-game.
Oh absolutely yoh are right, those little buggers can dish out damage quickly so Fubuki's damage was feasable. To do it almost immediately at a rear target was just hard to accept.
I'd agree the KGV does seem squishy if just 2 bombs could do that to it, perhaps this mod has altered damage to increase lethality.
@@theedifiedgamer8350 I think they were targeting Fubuki purely because she was the closest DD, and that would be inline with how ships decide which targets to engage.
Is it just me that had the picture change to perhaps half screen a few minutes into the video?
I've not noticed that. It fit the capture when I was editing just fine and there shouldn't be any cinematic borders. I'll keep an eye out when I'm back at my PC.

I've played a little of the ABDACOM Defensive, not had the time to really get stuck into it inbetween YT series.
