Hey Masoud, you have been brilliant helping me out on my journey thanks a lot! Please let me know if work experience is important to get into Bachelors degree in the UK as home student? And does it make sense to do a 4 year degree called Msci physiotherapy( university of Birmingham has only this as a physiotherapy degree), does it help with higher salaries after passing out or will it be considered the same as a 3 year degree. Thank you again. Hoping you would reply me xx
Hi Jeny, Thank you for your comment. Yes work experience or some level of exposure to a physio or a healthcare/clinical setting is near mandatory to have as it shows you have a feel of what’s it’s about but…if you don’t it’s ok as long as you can talk about it and say you’ve spoken with people like myself…. (Most unis will understand work exp is competitive and hard due to covid etc.) The 4 year degree is your personal choice and I don’t believe it would impact your salary greatly on completion of the course… everyone starts off as a BAND 5 and then works their way up to band 6 etc…. Hope this helps you
Hi Masud, any chance you could give me a few hints and tips on how to do well on my Physiotherapy degree apprenticeship interview in 2 weeks time? Thanks mate
Hi Jamie, I don’t have personal experience of a physio degree apprenticeship interview but I’d imagine it will go along the same lines of: - testing your knowledge of the profession - role of a physio - role of the other healthcare team members - why you want to go into physio - your extra curricular activities and how they fit to the role of a physio - probably the trust values of the trust you are planning to do your apprenticeship in - knowledge of the NHS (constitution) That’s all I can think of off the top of my head, keep doing your research and show you’re keen to the interviewers, you’ll stand a good chance. Good luck mate and let me know how it goes 👍🏼

Hi Hamidreza, normal way, search courses online, write a personal statement, make sure you have the English certifications, make sure you have the academic requirements, make sure you have the financial support to study and apply, go for interview, get offer, accept, then go …
Depends on your specific needs…how best do you learn? On the job or theory? I think it’s good as it allows you to qualify as a physio but if it’s good for you specifically only you can know…
Hello masoud hope you are doing great. I want your help for choosing my master degree. I have done physiotherapy from Pakistan is msc sports and excercise medicine good option? I want to pursue my career as sports physiotherapy in uk please help me out
Hi Mahnoor, yes that is a good option. But to practice in U.K. you will probably need to complete some clinically supervised hours in a hospital to be able to register with the HCPC before you become a qualified physio in the U.K. So keep this in mind.
Thank you Masoud Is it compulsory to practice in UK clinical field or my experience from pakistan hospital will be enough. And is it compulsory for every physiotherapy field to get registered by hcpc
@@mahnoormalik847 yes that is correct unless your portfolio matches HCPC requirements. But you will have to do your due diligence with them (website/phone).
