    Very nice.... but I think you should have drawn two graphs one of primary and secondary radical overlapped to show the difference in energy

    I understood upto this.
    But my question is in case of chlorination...
    Why isobutane gives 63% iso-butylchloride and 37% tert-butyl chloride?

    is the selectivity temperature dependant or do we see a difference in selectivity upon increasing temperature?

      Yes, for kinetically controlled reactions, the selectivity will increase at lower temperature. Below a certain temperature, however, the reaction won't proceed at all.
