Neat little kit.
Space blanket, Flashlight, (the new) Knife, Compass, Fire starter, Whistle. Those i'd keep.
Everything else i would replace with a gas lighter, disinfectant pads and a roll of electrical tape.
On the ferro rod: hold the striker firmly and as still as possible.
Pull the ferro rod toward you.
Pushing the striker down the rod: risks disturbing you tinder/kindling pile.
There are many very light, yet sturdy knives available, if that is a real issue.

If you can afford it, a satellite phone of some variety, or at a minimum a portable radio capable of transmitting on guard is a good idea. Personally, especially where I fly there are a lot of less than nice critters and lots of wide open remote spaces, a good general purpose woods gun like a .357 magnum revolver, or 10mm pistol is a good idea to have in your flight bag in case you land somewhere where wildlife is a concern.
The propeller looks to be rift sawn with jumbo growth rings. Very nice.
Hey Max did you know those flimsy silver "survival" blankets make you invisible to night vision?
No joke they really work. You seem the type to have night vision goggles or scope laying around! LOL! If not ask a friend who does and make a video with appropriate accreditation to those of us blessed with superior intellect...or watches a lot of tv science shows like myselfish!!
If I was one of the intillectually superior I wouldn't have left my dead end lead rock/metal vocalist/writer/rhythm guitar rock star lifestyle to be hampered and held back with the old ball and chain AKA wife and kids!! LOL!!
