I do that often with the tops of my furniture pieces…paint, stencil or even transfers and decoupage papers first, then coat with the epoxy (and a tiny bit of bling) and the results are so fabulous, in my opinion.
I know so many people have questions regarding an integrated backsplash and sink & you brought tons of helpful tips to guide them in their process, me too! Well done!!! 😀 This was one of those, "trust the process" videos 😊and it turned out so good!! I think the Fusion Spray accents really took this to the next level and I can't wait to get my hands on some. The Relax is a game changer. Do we know the sf. coverage, by chance on that? Hope you're having a fantastic weekend! ♥ya, K
I'm in a position to do this now.. I'm taking a sink that's been in this house for 30 plus years that I can not find a sink to fit the susan that it sits in that I like.. so I love this! I'm just gonna go for it! Scared to death, but it can always be sanded down and redone, I guess.. integrated backsplash and sink on palaver finish currently... unsure if I spelled that correctly... but it's about to go down here in NY! 🤷
Should the RCM fusion spray be used after each coat of epoxy or after the final coat of epoxy? Also, if doing a top coat do we need to do it again? Thank you for all your help.
You can use the Fuzion spray at any point to pop the bubbles. Not sure I understand the second part of the question. Feel free to give us a call. I’ll be happy to talk with you.
Question..so i used a different brand of epoxy and once done i turned it over, it dried into a disk in the bottom that i could not get out! Was that just because of the brand or a mixing issue? it wasn't sticky st all though..
I followed your instructions and used Stone coat epoxy on my integrated sink countertop and for the most part it turned out great except for some bubbles that I could not get out with my heat gun. When I sanded it down and added a new coat of epoxy I still got bubbles in that same area. So my question is how do I get them out and keep them from coming back? I'm going to apply one more coat of epoxy and then I am done no matter what.
I also have a few divots. I really want to get into using epoxy resin on a lot of different little projects I have in mind, but I'm afraid that it's going to be a big hit or miss on a regular basis.
Bubbles can be caused by several things. What sort of epoxy are you using. Give me a call and I’ll be happy to talk and we can figure out what a going on. www.RK3Designs.com

Thanks girl!! You’re gonna love the Fuzion!
Love this I think it’s time to order some fusion ❤
Looks great. I would use a tiny paint brush to get the crack under the backsplash in spots.
Great idea!
Very nice my dear.
Thank you so much 😊
@@RK3Designs You are so welcome.
Very nice. Does this work on cultured marble as well?
Yes it does!
Can this be done in place instead of removing

I'm wanting to do this in my 2nd bathroom. I want to have an ocean theme on mine.
That will look awesome!
@@RK3Designs just ordered my project supplies from Stonecoat.

How resistant to scratches spills etc. have kids.
The epoxy on its own is very durable but I always recommend applying the Ultimate TopCoat for maximum protection and durability.
could I use a vinyl counter top? it's thick plastic
You can! Just make sure you scuff and apply the bonding primer first. 😊
I tried this on my sink but can’t get rid of bubbles and fish eyes. Is that something that is just part of it? Or can you make it bubble free?
