- Is there anything to do in the least-populated part of Korea? In this video, our friend Hosan who grew up here takes us around Korea's little-known Inje county. We try some of the best cold noodles we've had in Korea, check out a HUGE racetrack in the middle of the mountains, and have a super authentic natural hot spring experience where there are outdoor pools!

If you are looking for a place to visit in Gangwon-do, you must go to Sokcho(속초). You can see a very nice view from Seorak Mountain(설악산), and there are many delicious foods in Abai Sundae Town(아바이순대 타운)
가래(토종호두)의 가장 겉 껍데기는 독한 냄새(살충제 같은)가 나고 만지면 피부를 새까맣게 염색시키는 딱딱한 섬유질입니다. 이 부분이 신선할 때는 상당히 딱딱해서(호박 껍데기 정도의 강도) 깔끔하게 벗겨내는 것이 쉽지 않아요. 그래서 부패 시키는 방법으로 썩히면 흐물흐물해져서 쉽게 벗겨집니다. 그리고 나서 말립니다. 딱딱한 중간 껍데기만 남으면 이것을 쪼개어 벗겨내면 고소하고 맛있는 먹을 수 있는 알맹이가 나오죠. 딱딱한 껍데기를 망치로 깨면 알맹이까지 으깨져서 먹을 것이 별로 없죠. 그래서 뭉툭한 엉덩이 부분을 숯불에 올려 세워 놓으면 뾰족한 위쪽 껍데기 부분부터 좌우로 벌어집니다. 그러면 깔끔하게 쪼개서 알맹이를 쉽게 파내어 먹을 수 있습니다. 지독한 냄새가 나는 이유는 섬유질 겉 껍데기를 썩히고 있었기 때문입니다^^

i think the nuts are 'ginko' or acorn. if it's acorn, they soak in in water before grinding it and make jelly with it.

it's not mineral water..and definately not gas sparkling water. in korean, it is called 'yuk su' translation is 'medicine water'. mineral content is not the main point of the water. it actually is 'spring water' it's clean spring water unfiltered. there are thousands of them in korea, and not all of them have high mineral content. that korean guy needs to learn some english.....
