I always love the book recommendations!! A good book I suggest Gal pal to read is: Fingersmith from Sarah Waters. It is a thriller-roman but so good and so many plot twists that you don't expect. So, if you like an exciting story that sets place in the 19th century, you should read it ❤

I did a mini book club with my coworker last week and we listened to Songs of Achilles on Spotify, its also about two gay men, and if you know anything about Achilles you know that it's not a greek comedy, it's short and sweet.
I am a tad late to the Gal Pal channel party, but may I say that these videos absolutely lift my little lesbian heart. That you add in a note about whether it is obvious to a passerby that there is some sapphic content in case youre still in the closet is such a thoughtful addition. If I had been lucky enough to have cats like you when I was younger, life would have been a lot different. Thank you for what you do, and don't stop now ❤

I also can recommend all Alice Osemann's books 📚 They're amazing, I'm already in love with the 1st one ("Loveless"). But she has a bunch of books and all are with LGBTQ+ in them. Asexual, lesbian, bisexual, lesbian, non-binary characters and all others are in stories. I started reading The Loophole by Naz Kutub. I’m only about 1/3 of the way through but I’ve been enjoying it! The main character is from an Indian family that lives in California. While he tries to get over his ex boyfriend, he meets a genie in a bottle. The summary/reviews do talk about the book having a gay main character but the cover doesn’t single it out as LGBTQ. The author’s note before the start of the book does list a couple of trigger warnings that are in 2 of the chapters, and also asks the reader to wait to read this book later if it’s not safe to read right now. I love The Locked Tomb so much and I’m so excited to read all the other books on this list!!

Well, I summerised the hunger games as the story of how catnis became friends with the family cat. The book starts out with catnis beefing with the cat and explaining how she originally wanted to drown it, and it ends with buttercup moving in to catnises house and them bonding over alll the awful stuff that’s happened. So I absolutely approve of your summary.
I'VE READ SO MANY OF THESE BOOKS the first gay fiction/fantasy I read was called "Valiant Ladies" Its a slowburn historical fiction but it wouldn't happen in real life its just fun and messy and adventurous very much recommend

If you want book recommendations, and you like magic worlds have you ever read MXTX's novels?(they're all about Chinese gay pairings though, don't know if there are any lesbian relationships in them as I've only seen the amines, and read about 13 chapters of one of the series.)
