The book was soooo good!!! The whole time I was reading it I was thinking that this would make a great limited tv series, and so I was SO excited when I saw it advertised on Paramount Plus! So many shots are exactly how I envisioned it from the book. Can't wait to watch this.
The book was an amazing read! I loved it! And this trailer looks very similar to how I visualised all the scenes! I will definitely watch it!

A different genre to what Sheridan Smith usually has. First Royle Family and Two pints. Then Benidorm. No Return and the Teacher, looking forward to this and i hope it opens doors to this kind of genre in the future for her. Brilliant actress x

I know there are probably plot reasons in this film/the book, but I'm always struck by the ridiculousness of the concept of everyone in a disaster like this, being suspicious of each other. Like, what does it matter? You're all stuck on an island, why wouldn't you trust the people also stuck there? At least as a baseline, you are all in the same situation. Odds are you're all gonna die if you don't work together. From everything I've read, in these situations people generally treat each other well, and try to pull together to maintain the status quo. (I guess it's different in a pirate scenario or whatever, but most normal people would be so screwed in that situation, there's not a lot of time for plotting.)
Show looks good though. I don't think I could ever let it go if any of my family, or friends went missing in a plane crash. I'd always want to know what happened.
That's the difference between real life and a tacky TV film.

@@spider46531 Eh, it could be argued there might be a *better written* show or series. Maybe not all group island castaway plots have to go the same way, maybe it's too easy a trope to fall into, and it almost always requires the characters to take stupid actions to justify. But people seem to like them, so maybe I'm wrong.
Can’t wait to watch this I love Sheridan Smith, anything she’s in is brilliant.

I’ve just finished the book. Which was a pretty good read but the trailer seems to be missing a key person 👀 I hope they’ve just edited them out for suspense purposes.

Only to be disappointed to find it’s not available in the US. Wish your branding was more clearly identified on the trailers and on your channel’s displayed name.

seeing the title I thought this might be like some kind of serious modern adaptation of Gilligan's Island or something to that effect.
sorry if this comment seems a little bit out there and random. I've never heard of the book that this is actually adapted from. Algorithm sent this my way and I thought it might be a Gilligan's isalnd type thing with the loose troupe and images i saw in the first few seconds. But looks like I was way off.

I have it, so yeah looks good. I’ll check it out but I just wanted to say one thing. Why is it in every movie? There’s some dumb ass that says you have to move on. You have to put this behind you. And they have no relationship to anybody. I mean literally U-turn and say dude it’s not your sister. Shut your damn mouth shut. Anyway that always cracks me up because it’s always some unrelated individual saying that that’s all.
