- You won’t believe these weird facts about Special Forces around the world!
Soldiers in the Brazilian Army's 1st Special Forces Battalion train with some rather unconventional weapons. At Jungle Warfare School soldiers learn to use the ENARM Pentagun - a five round semi-automatic revolving shotgun- as well as machetes and daggers.
Britain’s Special Air Service, aka the SAS, was actually disbanded after World War 2. However, the UK government soon realized that having an elite squad was indeed useful and in 1947 it was reformed.
Spestnaz training has a course called “Pain Management” where enlistees get beat with bats, kicked, and tortured. They’re also pulled from trucks and even have to swim around barbed wire.
Canada has a secret special forces unit that almost no one has ever heard of. JTF2, whose motto is “deeds, not words” is a hyper-secret, elite counter-terrorist and VIP security force of some 250 hand-picked volunteers. They were only exposed for the first time in 2015 when a video showing them was accidentally released. - Наука

My buddy joined the CF as Infantry for Afghanistan and was at a base training on the east coast near Halifax I believe. He and his buddy’s where having a smoke along the pier. Then a dude appeared dripping wet in a full balaclava asking for a smoke. He lifted the bottom half so his mask took a few drags asked how they where doing and if they were enjoying the training. passed them back the smoke and disappeared over the pier again to never been seen by them. Swore that dude was JTF-2. I kinda don’t believe him cause it just sounds to much like a bond movie myself but I like telling it like a ghost story when I’m drunk.
I heard that John Cena is enlisted into that unit.
The best special forces is that which you have not heard of or heard very little of
So the canadian ones are scary
But the strongest ones could also be the ones you heard of the most. Knowing What they achieved can instill fear of ever having to meet them in real battle
While the skill of sf units in terms of stealth might be akin to that, units like the SAS are probably one of, if not the bets in the world by virtue of experience and selection alone. They're only really popular because of the Iranian Embassy siege, otherwise no one would've heard of them. They had some fame in military circles.
Everyone will say that their country's special forces are best.
Gentleman let me tell you one more thing
In june2020 we Indians heard for the first time a Indian special unit called SPECIAL FRONTIER FORCE aka SFF during clashes with China. Those SFF guys fucked Chinese and captured a mountain peak called Black Top and then after that China started going backfoot and till now not showed any agression.
That was the first time we heard of SFF and the newspaper and international headlines goes as - SFF- India's top secret special forces who smashed Chinese.
Also gentleman let me tell you one more thing
That our many indian officers go to usa rangers school and special forces training school (like delta force and green berets) and they topped there , beating the Americans itself.

Great vid but JTF2 was exposed before 2015. Back when the war on terrorism started JTF2 was deployed without the knowledge from the prime minister and parliament. They only found out JTF2 was even deployed (and also when civilians found out they even existed) was when back in (I believe) 2004 a photo of 2 JTF2 members (in Canadian camouflage called CADPAT) handing a taliban prisoner over to the Americans was taken by a member of a news station (I think), which forced the government to acknowledge the existence of JTF2. You can search it up to see the story in detail as I don’t quite exactly remember everything

Brazil special forces: *shows Chilean special forces*
He must have taken the images of the training given to foreigners, that's why there are so many different uniforms in the first photo. Yeah, it didn't show the 1st battalion of Brazilian special forces. Most likely it is the instruction in CIGS for foreigners
@@yuri30027 Perhaps just looked for "Special Army training stock videos" most of them are free and good quality
its litteraly 2 secs of chile soldiers but they are in training in the CIGS, and there ARE brazilian soldiers there but not the special forces but actualy CIGS battalion (jungle warfare).
And this fact is TOTALY WRONG LIKE 100% IMPOSSIBLE since the brazilian special forces NEVER USED THE PENTAGUN, they actualy use SPAS 15, BENELLI M4 and REMINGTON 870, i know some guys that are in the brazilian military and a few are in the special forces and i can easily verify that too
And why the brazilian army never used the pentagun? well, the pentagun is a brazilian PROTOTYPE GUN theres only ONE in the whole planet so its impossible a prototype to be in the special forces arsenal
CONCLUSION: THIS FACT IS A LIE SINCE THEY ARE SAYING THAT A PROTOTYPE GUN ARE USED IN THE BRAZILIAN SPECIAL FORCES

Isn't there a JTF1, JTF3...
No. It was rcmp counter terror. But the job was shifted to the CAF in 93 as they had better training and resources.

One more werid fact
The Indian Army's Para Special forces soldiers , after training drink rum from a glass and after finishing it they take a bite from that glass itself breaking it and chewing a glass piece to show their fearlessness
Since we are not White neither from the Western world, so it does not appear on the Western media.
Yeah and Turkish special forces can breathe under water for 3 months.
@@gwynnbleid4936 Pimpland... Where's it? I wanna go there...
If you haven’t heard of a special forces it usually means they haven’t done a lot
(Also ‘Spetznaz’ isn’t a special forces unit, as there are multiple variations and units for different trades, they are basically the better version of them and used on special missions, they arnt a single unit
well units like JTF2 pride themselves on their secrecy. They have done A LOT of shit, you just never usually hear about it. One you would know, thoug not know it was JTF2....was in Colombia. Remember the movie Tears of the Sun with ol Bruce? Yea the real story was JTF2, not the gravy seals. In Bosnia, JTF2 were deployed as counter sniper teams, literally hunting snipers, and hostage rescue ops. There was one where they were to go in and secure and evacuate 55 prisoners, but when the Serbs heard JTF2 were coming, they just released them instead of willingly fighting them.
JTF2 are badasses, but also practice "quiet professionalism" like it was a religion.
0:33 many special forces units, if not all, have such training course. Sometimes it is called test for "fear of aggressive people and pain". Also, picture is actually from Russian national guard special forces test (for receiving maroon beret), where one of phase in test is to fight numerous close combat instructors with goal to not give up, even if your are heavily losing.
We knew about JTF2 back before 9/11. It was officially announced by our Defense Minister in Oct 2001 that as part of assisting the US after 9/11 we would be sending JTF2 to Afghanistan. There was literally a book written about them in 2002, and they were recruiting from active military and RCMP for YEARS before that and it wasn't a secret.
Sheesh...
Ah but of course you forget about the greek marines, there are videos about their training
some of which include their infamous *panic test* stripping a marine of his scuba gear underwater, and he then has to place it all back on himself whilst holding his breath.
Also not to mention ive heard rumours that they like to tie you up in a bag and throw you off a boat robinson crusoe style and you have to escape the bag and swim to shore.

I mean, at least what they showed of the “pain management” kinda looks like what most special forces, or even just regular militaries do, and not special to the Spetsnaz.
Idk, but beating each other up and then being forced to stop is something they do in the British army to not only treat pain tolerance, but also discipline (you know, stopping when you’re told to stop instead of going full Mike Tyson on them and biting their ear off) and they (as well as America and probably many other places) have interrogation and torture training. I’m sure Spetsnaz is more hardcore, but this video certainly didn’t show that.
JTF2 also holds the world record for longest sniper shot on an isis scum at 3.4 kilometers.
Not sure how true the JTF2 story is with them not being well known until 2015, there is articles dating back to 2002 about their existence

in fact, no Brazilian special force trains with that weaponry, as for daggers and machetes, they are usually carried by specialized soldiers in the jungle. That is, they are conventional troops kkkk I myself was part of these types of troops in my first period in the Brazilian army, the special forces and the battalions of war in the jungle, use the same armament, in this case it would be the FAL paratrooper version, now to train foreigners in our training schools, the armament has to come from a foreign country.
Edit: The same weaponry for training, as we have a period of 6 months to let's say "meat tenderization" where volunteers for the special forces are subjected to some physical exertion.
another thing they greatly got wrong was that they used the INDONESIAN army's footage while talking about brazil

I was glad to work with an ex Canadian special forces guy. Perhaps the hardest working dude I’ve known. Dude would work for close to 35 hours consistently without signs of fatigue or sleep. Had a feeling he could go even longer
During Falklands war, British special forces landed on S. Georgia Island on the "wrong side", that is, mountains rather than settlement. Did it on purpose in order to perform a surprise strike on Argentinians. Just had to climb over the mountains.
Could not do it. Best men, training, equipment, well fed, had to call for rescue within hours. Ernest Shackleton and 2 others landed in the same spot, crossed the mountains, and reached rescue. With a hand axe and some rope.
Anytime you feel down and "I can't go on", read about Shackleton.

@@suspiciouscanadian6478 Yes I agree. I was referring to the people who have any experience or interest in the field. Air-softers, gamers, guys who read Tom Clancy or other writer in the genre, guys in the Canadian forces, or guys in the spec-ops community elsewhere, etc. I'm sure there's a lot of overlap in those groups to.
