Thank you, I had the same setup for 30$. Simple hdmi switcher and usb switcher(kvm). Smaller combined sizes than this, significantly less money and no power adaptor to switches. But thank you for the review.
I also used one before on my tv but always had troubles with it, besides that the BenQ had much more features and you can really do a lot with it and the data transfer speed is for me as a video editor awesome 🤩 but sure when a simple switch is enough then use it 👍
No it is not, but as I demonstrated for my Use Case it worked very well. I switch between my notebook and my gaming console and that works very fast and very well 👍 it is an enhancement for my daily workflow and I can simply play switch when I take a break 🤩
My computer monitor has no audio. My external speaker connected to benq. Can get audio when on laptop mode. However. No audio for ps5. Only way for me to get audio is plug from external speaker via aux to controller. Help
@@user-pv9cf4fr6d okay that is strange normally HDMI also transfer the audio directly to the monitor in your case… it worked for me on the switch; don‘t know if this works with the audio jack tbh, because most of the time I use it directly on the monitor; maybe this is a PS5 thing?
@@christianeggbauer to be clear… My set up Macbook > usb c to Benq (2in1 port) PS5 > hdmi vid/aud to Benq (green port) Ext. Speaker > usb to Benq (back usb ports)
Okay as you wrote that I went up in my studio and tested it out: 1TB SSD from Samsung connected via USB-C (front Docking Station) to USB-C cable. It opened immediately the drive and I can copy all files in full speed as well as I did in the video via USB-A front. So here everything works fine.

So it's NOT a KVM? Just a single display switcher? strange niche to fill...
