    I am guessing this ~150bhp superquadro engine will make its way to the monster and the hypermotard.
    Overall I feel its a good bike to own considering the fact that ducatis age well with time and don't lose their brand value. The ground clearance of 130mm is an issue for sure being a naked they should have tried to increase it.
    You also left out the bmw s1000r which is also closely priced to this.

    • @brendonfernandes2877
      @brendonfernandes2877 4 месяца назад

      Totally different bikes. The Z900 is all about smoothness and straight line speeding. If you love highway riding then the Z900 is more than enough. However if you love curvy roads then the V2 is based on a race bike and has FAR better handling than the Z900. On a drag race the Z900 will be slightly behind the V2 but on a race track it would be the V2 by a wide margin because of it's handling. The Z900 has the advantage of engine refinement and FAR better reliability. The V2 is a lot more fun to ride bike if you like aggressive riding.

    I have ridden this motor and i have noticed that this and the V4 are so rumbling, it feels like an opposite to the Honda CBR 1000, Kawasaki ZX-10R and Yamaha's liter R1. On the V2 you can clearly notice the vibration and Harshness of the 90 degree V-Twin. Its only good for Purist or the people who love Ducati.
    They have just upgrade the design and the Electronic Packages, nothing else in the engine side

    The heat is a deal breaker. And dont have time to take it out of the city every now and then. So that price point automatically makes this bike a little less worth than the other options.

      I don't think it heats up all that much. When he says heats up it should be quantified properly. Hot compared to what should be the question. All bikes heat up heck even my 390 duke heats up it can be uncomfortable but that doesn't mean it can't be riden.
      You can always stop the engine when your stuck in traffic. I don't think he has tried this.

    • @jithesh51423
      @jithesh51423 Год назад

      As an owner of the street fighter v2 I'd say the bike doesn't heat up at all, the only heat you as a rider experience is from the the exhaust bend underneath you but even that's bearable. Then again you can't expect a 955cc high compression v twin to be completely cool, its amazing it doesn't heat you from the engine side.

  • @sportstours24
    @sportstours24 Год назад

    The problem with buying a naked in India is lack of respect from fellow road users/cops. You buy a 20 lakh bike, and it looks like the regular 1 lakh commuter.
    Had this problem with the z900.

    • @SOUVIK_RAY_
      @SOUVIK_RAY_ Год назад

      I was thinking the same. Even a 650cc fully faired bikes get a lot of looks and queries from eager public while even powerful z900 doesn't get much attention. Nevertheless the power and the practicality of naked sport bike far outweighs a fully faired sport bikes especially litre class segment.

      For sure he missed out the s1000r. Not sure about the tuono. But I feel ducati is like ferrari and bmw is like bmw the brand value differ by a lot. So I feel the additional price for the V2 makes sense with that respect. Ducati would lose its value if it sells like hot cakes.

There is no logic in buying V4s for city rides with a power you cant ever use.. and there is no point of going with V2 also because its bad in slow speeds.. i mean, give me a break.......

    • @RishaadMody1
      @RishaadMody1 Год назад

      Yeah I can understand the confusion because many international reviews say the V2 is better in the city. That’s not my experience - V4 was much more flexible and was happier to carry higher gears at city speeds. Less judder at low rpm. And you can put it in low power mode which restricts power to 150hp and that makes the bike quite tame at normal speeds because of the 15000rpm redline
