- I've been meaning to cover this Sonic fangame for quite some time and for good reason. Don't let the rather edgy title fool you, this is a very polished and insanely fun Sonic fangame with tons of style.
The biggest strength of this Rush inspired Sonic fangame is the emphasis on chaining as many actions as possible, which was actually featured in the Wii/PS2 version of Sonic Unleashed. It encourages the player to consider other routes as well as the most efficient ways of chaining as many actions as possible. Not to mention, level assets like speedboosters, dash rings and springs actually serve a bigger purpose this time.
It's incredibly addictive and it works really well with the fast paced nature of the boost gameplay, not to mention the dopamine rush you get from racking up a lot of points combined with the satisfying visuals and sound effects.

Toward the very end of that first boss, I had to freeze frame for a moment, because that sphere thing Eggman fired from his machine looked a little weird. That's when I realized he fired *himself* at you.
When he said "Here I come!" he *meant* it!
Until he blew up his own machine. What a shame

I finally found it. The second paragraph of the video description helped me put into words exactly what I love in a Sonic game and deduce why I enjoyed The Rush games and Unwiished more than Colors, this question stumped me for years but I finally get it. Chaining actions requires level design that nearly demands speed, requires the player to experience and learn from trial and error, and encourages replaying stages in pursuit of ‘The Perfect Run’. This is it, the perfect game for me.

This game focuses on speed but does it in a way that’s not detrimental to the gameplay, it’s pretty great
Also the action chains and scoring system adds more substance and style to a a game that already had a solid foundation.

I cringed a bit at this video since I made some mistakes and got hit... but hey, at least it proves the shield power up is useful even in a boost Sonic game ;).
Also, I'm a perfectionist when it comes to games... almost to a detrimental fault...

Got2LoveLife Yeah, that DBZ game looks really slick and I'm not even that big on fighting games. I only own Ultra Street Fighter 4 on Steam so far. I'm actually pretty good at it too. Usually main M. Bison, DeeJay or Cody.

Probably not, I haven't done my research nor played the game, so I would have to assume it didn't.
That always bothered me...the DS is more than capable of using sprite based models....aside from the music of course I don't see why it wouldn't be able to handle this game. If it can run GTA Chinatown Wars than this should be no biggie.

Best sonic game I've seen in my life
With the many, many different pathways, the possibilities for combos are endless!
Now this is what you call a sonic game the music and the way plays and looks it is on point take notes sonic team.
To be honest, it is kinda short, i won't complain. This game probably took a month or 2 to make. The game graphics, music, sonic powers are just incredible. I am looking foward a remastered version in the future! =D

Well, at least this fangame shows a lot of promise. Also, for me personally, there's actually quite a lot of replayability for the little content it has, which is impressive.
It is better than forces though. Forces was the worst $23 I've spent in a while.
Carlos Rodriguez can't agree with you. Forces has more levels, better music, almost identical modern physics.
Indeed it would be a fair comparison if both games are complete, but I also agree that this fangame shows promise. I find these levels more engaging than the Modern Sonic stages of Forces. That said, I can't wait for the full release. If Nefault1st will make more levels like these or better, it would be hard to argue that Forces is still the more enjoyable game.

I really like how this Fangame is inspired by Sonic Rush. Not a lot of Fangames are inspired by this awesome game and I think a some of them should be inspired by it but it may be because I'm a huge Sonic Rush fan.

Sunlight paradise is giving me some intense Street Fighter 3 feels lol. Also I just thought of a brilliant idea. During segments where said sonic character has to fight enemies in a locked room, why not give them a time limit or a timed grade? The better they do the more pathways they unlock/reset if the time elapses?

It's funny really. I never cared for subs and most of my videos get an enormous amount of views for the little subs I have. And now RUclips's Creator Program requirements are updated and now I'm praying to hit 1k subs, since watch time isn't a problem for me... at all.
And my videos don't have any fancy editing or high production values or heck... even eye catching thumbnails... I never even did RUclips for money in the first place and I started monetizing my videos when I already had 200k views racked in since I didn't consider my videos worthy of monetization...
I'm just passionate about games in general and like to play stylish, because Devil May Cry :P. And it warms my heart that people like my worthless content. :)

This is a good game and all but it only has two levels in it. Why not put more levels in the game so that it can be more fun.

Playing it right now. It has some flaws that I'm very aware of... but I still like the game overall. :)
I even found ways to make to Werehog more enjoyable thanks to some guard cancels for ground moves. Really opens up your offensive options and gives more mobility to cancel recovery animations.

Yep. Though it's just a demo. Nefault1st, the creator of this Sonic fangame has worked on it for quite some time and it shows. But he also has a busy schedule so progress for it has slowed down, though he's still updating the game on his channel.
Either way, even if he doesn't finish it, you can't take away the effort and passion he put into it. Nefault1st is really talented. :)

The animation is so smooth and the physics are incredible such s shame sega if a fan can do better than you then you go into a closet and rethink the choice you made and leave the bull crap games in there along with your failure.
