I use the non-acetone nail polish remover or Tamiya over spray cleaner whenever it's in stock. The Tamiya tuff is expensive but leaves a perfectly clear window with no blurriness. Good luck finding it in stock as I think SBG and Harley Designs buy it by the boatload before it reaches our shores, lol.
For the body posts you could make some hood scoops from styrene or 3D print some to cover the screws / nuts...OR use some 3m dual lock to attach the body and use the hood scoops to cover the body post holes.

I tried it once and it did ok. Not as well as the nitro fuel but every body varies a bit I think.
I order my nitro can u do it in the house or u have to do it outside and do it have a oder to it

The best thing I’ve found to use is this nitro fuel. It still takes some scrubbing but it works well most of the time.
