I would assume so. It would take a lot of effort though, and would probably require melting or cutting plastic, Anything can be done if you throw enough time and money at it, but in a world with 45 dollar mechanical keyboards, it wouldn't be worth it.
You'd need to find a real keyboard that uses a similar layout and hope that the kb housing could hold the PCB of said real keyboard. Then you'd need switches that are compatible with the fake-mechanical sliders these boards use. Might be possible for a topre board, but those are niche and already super expensive.
How do I get my key tronic 102wn to work with my windows 10 laptop? I have two adapters, at to ps/2 and ps/2 to usb. When I connect it the computer reads it as a barcode scanner and the light turns on on the keyboard but it just doesn’t type at all. Thanks
Nice try on this one, it's a pity that a keyboard brand with such boastful claims about their quality and longevity turned out to be a simple turd of hardware.
Can these Key Tronic Boards be upgraded to switches and and sliders instead of the rubber membrane?

Yeah, you can even get new ones for not too much still.

Wow, that's pretty wild. I've never heard of a problem like that. The only thing I can think of is to try a new PS2 adapter.
