    Can't wait for the results video looks like that 10 crescendo sub might be good after all. Love this box you built Jacob. Please turn it up louder next video to see how loud it gets I bet it hits a 152db max volume my guess. Lets see how close I come to gessing. I know a good built box when I see one and this looks like at least a 150db setup good job Jacob Viral👍

      150 for a 10” is VERY LOUD and doubt that is possible for my power range sadly but thanks for the support!

    Really glad I seen your videos I'm about to rebuild my 4th order single 18. My sealed side was to big and my ported side was to small so back to the drawing board. Very informative videos buddy keep it up.

    Those damn birds I filmed a subwoofer excursion video with birds🐦in the background. When the sub got loud you couldn't hear the bird. It got 500 views not bad for a first year bigginer.

    So with 4th order does only the square inches of the port matter? Unlike ported boxes where the cubic inch volume tunes it?

    • @JacobViral2
      @JacobViral2  2 года назад

      No, it also affects the amount of cubic space in the ported chamber for the tuning

    Hello jacob Testing port at low vol. Or full vol. For better results?

    • @JacobViral2
      @JacobViral2  4 года назад +1

      I would go with 75% volume to be optimal without clipping/heat buildup massively but close to the potential of the build. I am doing it around 35-40% volume and it isn't as close to output but get's my on a decent ballpark of knowledge.

    3:00 aren't those tools going to vibrate off the box?

  • @briankelling5006

    how doni get specs and how could I turn it into a 6th for a high excursion 10

    • @JacobViral2
      @JacobViral2  Год назад

      Turning into 6th would be easy with this size box, simply make a slightly larger ported box to slide into the big chamber. I recall i was doing around 8 cubes ported, 1 cube sealed in this style. Measure out your limits and use that.
