The second this turned into an argument between Michael and Fiona, the aliens had already won. No matter what, one of them was getting kicked off that ship. Unfortunately for Fiona, the only person to support her answer was the Chaos Queen herself, Lyndsay “Wild Card” Jones. That arguably made Fiona look MORE suspicious.
I don’t like the nicknames that were assigned to Lindsey to sway away from the obvious
Max I didn’t give her those nicknames. That’s just Lyndsay’s reputation. Everyone knows that she is willing to sabotage her own team purely for the sake of “making things interesting” so having Lyndsay and ONLY Lyndsay back up Fiona was actually bad for Fiona.
Lindsay consistently takes the easiest route to screwing over the most people, on her team or off it. That's not a wild card, that's just a bitch who is being lazy at being a bitch.
Fiona, meanwhile, killed herself by trying to argue that her answer made sense and that everyone else was stupid for saying otherwise. Her answer was blatantly unlike the others and the only thing she did was get hostile. That was remarkably unpersuasive and a solid example of personality issues that are why so many people don't like Fiona.

Don B The original comment is about a lie of this sort and fredo makes more fake claims than real ones, so that would be a trick. I also haves played with like 5 people that have done this, so he isn’t the only person alive that does this. Everything you said was an obvious lie.
To be clear, the play is to become sorta purposefully ambiguous no matter how suspicious your actions are even if it costs you having suspicion when you’re innocent. You can say you don’t like that play style or the length he takes it, but to denounce him for not playing along is pretty stupid, especially when Michael will randomly fire at people in ttt and Jeremy will be similarly suspicious even when innocent pretty consistently as well. It’s sorta something that most people end up doing at some point in these types of videos

I think the biggest crime was Michael not putting Fiona in the scanner. Everything else kinda is an unfortunate set of events.
Yeah, you would think that getting an answer like that would prompt further investigation rather than assuming immediate guilt.

He may not have been an Alien, but Michael was the MVP for team evil this game, who puts that much faith into chocolate bars
Anyone that has called out a liar. They tend to say things like "whoa whoa whoa" and "calm down" and "you're really stupid." Which was pretty much everything Fiona was saying to defend herself. And then, much like someone caught in a lie, she tried to convince people that Michael was the alien/liar. Reactions matter as much as the answers do and Fiona was acting like a spoiled bitch upset that she had already lost the game.
@@Ryvaken okay but here me out, the entire accusation was based on "you picked the wrong kind of candy" an absolutely stupid accusation that Michael refused to budge on and effectively forced everyone to follow by being the loudest person in the room, saying a stupid call is stupid and the person forcing it through is evil are both pretty logical and natural responses
@@MrDegan2 I have heard you out, but I have three specific problems with your analysis.
The first is, remember the aliens get a similar but different question, so an answer that is reasonable but off is valid suspicion. Fiona's answer was vague and generic, whereas everyone else took the opportunity to be specific. Fiona's answer was blatantly and obviously unlike everyone else's and yet she acted like she didn't realize that at all. Reasonable or not, her answer is the odd man out and it's entirely appropriate to question that.
The second is Jack took great advantage of Fiona's terrible answer. "You didn't write blowpop, you wrote lollipop!" It's a great play to make it look like Fiona is trying to justify her answer with "I wrote X but really meant Y" which just underscores why you don't write generic answers in this game unless you have to.
Finally, Fiona's reactions were purely hostile. She denied that there was anything strange about her answer, that they had any reason to suspect her, and then she tried to point fingers at her accuser with nothing to back it up. That's not logical at all, it's pure emotion and it's not the kind of persona you need to project here. This is a social deduction game and Fiona's socializing all screams "I'm an angry bitch who is angry." That, more than the candy, is what cemented the suspicion.
TL;DR: Fiona gave a bad answer but the way she handled being called on it was what made her look like a liar.

I keep seeing "Just trade the candy you don't want for the candy you DO want" in these comments. You're assuming everybody had friends as a kid. When you have nobody to trade with, you're stuck with whatever you get. And growing up in a poor ass neighborhood, there were exactly 0 king sized candy bars. So it wouldn't have been my answer either.

@@Ryvaken They could've easily Just checked Fiona on the first one to get a surefire answer, instead they listen to Micheal and went with their gut allowing 1 of the aliens to always go free. Once they picked Fiona and didn't make sure they lost. That's why when I play games like this with my friends I always try to make sure.
People are focussing WAY too much on "I would never pick lollipops! That's such an unpopular answer!" when the focus should be on "does it answer the question". If she insists lollipops are her favourite, whether you agree with it or not it still answers the questions correctly. Michael uses it as definitive proof that she's an alien despite her answer implying she got the same question as them.
The way the question was phrased wasn't asking what you want to get on Halloween, it was asking what is the BEST thing to get on Halloween, though it is still subjective the question is phrased as if its trying to get the most popular answer from people.
Well that's dumb since "best" could be anything to different people. Lollipops may have been the "least popular" answer, but it's still a legitimate one.
Michaels reaction is entirely based off the notion that 9/10 times, any kid on Halloween would prefer to have a full size candy bar. It’s the argument of lollipops is too generic of a thing for any kid to openly seek on Halloween. As a kid, you don’t do a ToT route to get lollipops, you perfect it to get the king size candy bar
The real problem with this question is... trick or treating is a US maybe Canada thing, not in most any other country that I am aware of. Fiona moved to the US just before high school so she was never socially trained in Halloween candy hierarchy.

It's not just the answer, it's her reaction to getting called out. She doubled down on it. She called them dumb and tried to deflect onto Michael who had given good answers. Everything she did AFTER lollipop made her look guilty.
It's not just her answer that made her sound like an alien but that bizarre followup that really sealed the deal.

I love how this went completely insane 'cause I'm on Fiona's side. When I was little I got DumDum lollipops for Holloween and I was excited for them.
They're great, but how is this even a question? Dude I love twizzlers but I'd rather get a full sized 3 musketeers cause then I can trade it for more twizzlers than I would have gotten normally. Part of the problem was the people playing; Lindsay and Alfredo both have a history of pretending to be evil while not, intentionally or otherwise. “Full-sized candy bar” is basically the biggest and oldest Halloween meme in existence, and so any other answer just sounds weird, as if the person answering was out-of-touch with the rest of society... _like an alien._

@@OhGrayson There's no need to point out that her answer is utterly unlike the others. It is undetailed, generic, and doesn't address the specific question as well as the others.
This was a game where the aliens get a similar but different question, so she could have answered a question like "what is your favorite candy?" as an alien.
It is also a game where the aliens can hack the rules at the same point that Fiona volunteered for additional testing.
And none of that excuses Fiona's absolute inability to act innocent.

Not only is her not knowing how to play the game properly, such as having your answers align with the others as much as possible, if not then having a good reason for the different answer. But her lack of explaining or properly stating her reasons, and just going off accusing other's of being aliens the entire way, which does nothing but make her sus. So she has no one but herself and her stupidity to blame for getting them all killed that round. Hell, that clip at the end about Michael's answer to their kid bombing a talent show, which got him voted as alien. And Michael had no problems with that, is how she should have handled it.

The main issue I have with this video is that it has way too many scenes that weren't part of the animation.
A lot of these scenes are necessary for context. You need to see Fiona slowly lose control

The second Fiona said “It’s Michael”, the aliens had won. When two humans are quarreling, one of them has to get kicked off of the ship, and that guarantees an alien victory. Michael was tied to Ryan and Trevor by having the same answer in the round before hacks became available, so Fiona permanently set half of the human team against herself by accusing him.
The best part is that you can tell she’s innocent the second Fredo says “It’s me and Fiona! You know it!”

Raging Riolu “Full-sized candy bar” is essentially a very old and widespread meme that has withstood the test of time, to the point where most people would consider it to be THE correct answer to this question. While Fiona was technically correct, her answer was an outlier that made her seem out-of-touch with everyone else. One could even say her answer felt... _alien._

@@fifaking1322 I don't know, accusing other people who are accusing you as being an alien, seems like someone who was caught in their lie (like an alien) would do. Also when you know, the name of the game is (or it's rules rather), is you, if innocent, should always have your answers align with the rest of the innocent humans as possible. Not only was her answer off, (disregarding personal preference as you should go with the norm in this game, unless for good reason) but she did nothing to really back it up, and was only acting up on everyone after failing to explain her answer. Giving people no reason to let her redeem herself.
tl;dr: The "witch" lead him astray, and he had every right to bitch at her, when she was the reason they failed.
