Good review, I was very lucky recently and got a XL Titanium with extra trivets, the large grill plate, the small grill plate and the titanium multifunctional case from ebay for £45. Very pleased with it. I had the virus in late December, took 6 weeks to shift it, knocked the S*** out of me

Spot on appraisal there mate. Got to say though, love my Ti! Loved my SS as well, but yeah, upgraded and gave the SS to my lad. It's Bloody great having kids sometimes, they make a great excuse to get new kit! 😂

Haha that is a fine excuse indeed. I have grown to like the 96.2% to version now my OCD has calmed down haha.

I’ve got the LF version in Ti and loved it until I got the Winnerwell Ti version, it puts both Bushbox and Firebox to shame, it’s wider (two pots rather than one) than it is deep so acts as and looks like a fireplace. If you buy the stand to get it off the ground (catches a tonne of ash and you can put it on a table rather than the ground) and the feeder table you can use much bigger pieces of wood and feed it much less often. I made a custom solid Ti top/lid for mine to stop the heat escaping upward and it’s now an actual fireplace when I’m not cooking. Altogether it’s the same price as the Firebox XL Ti, if you just buy the stove it’s £93 and the table board/stand is £83, with the stand you can move it around while it’s burning by the fold out legs, with gloves obviously.

I have looked at that stove with curiosity for years 😂 I remember loving it and seeing something that put me off the purchase! For the life of me I can't remember what it was. I may have to look at this again. Thanks for the heads up. I do love my Winnerwell hot tent stoves. They are a top brand. Take it easy

I have the bushbox lf ordered in SS, price was the deciding factor. I opted for the base model with trivits only no grate, in Canada that was $149 + for another $79 I ordered the SS case/stand = $228 + tax, the base model Ti was $286 for the stove and the case/stand was $111 = $397 before tax. Hearing how long you've had the SS and seeing that its held up really well for so many years use makes me glad i went with SS this time round. I held off for a long time buying one because i thought they are overpriced for what they are. I broke down and got one because people rave about them but i wanted to compare the hinging system they use compared to my favorite stove a titanium boundless voyage dragonhorse stove which is probably close in size to the bushbox xl and a fraction of the price of the bushbox lf SS. Thank you for your comparison and thoughts on their two versions, i think i made the right choice.

Hey there the stainless version is bomb proof. I would have no issues owning that one over my ti one now! The LF is a good little stove I had the stainless LF, but have since gifted it on. The LF requires a little more attention when using fire in it than the XL, but it will still get the job done. I used the LF quite a bit when I went walking, but since owning the Ti XL "which weighs about the same as the LF in SS" it was surplus to requirements. You definitely made a good choice and that stove will probably outsee you 😂 Thanks for the comment buddy. Take care.

It's great to see you again Ste. Sorry you were out of commission. Good to see you're feeling better. I thought that maybe your channel got screwed up again. I think I would go with the stainless steel version and save some $. Thanks for the video.👍👍

To me, it’s absolutely unacceptable to include anything stainless to a Titanium “branded” product. Especially with the massive up charge! Is the hinge pins Titanium?
I see they don’t offer a Titanium grill grate either. Come on Bushcraft Essentials, get it together and offer a complete TI system! It’s not like these are cheap, especially when other TI grills out there are a lot cheaper.

That's a good question regarding the hinge pins. My guess would be stainless, but I will have to check. Thanks for stopping by. Take it easy.

Yes you sound horrible, just kidding, so glad you made it back. In my wheelhouse on this video as I am thinking about the TI for my intiial BushBox. Will be interesting to see what you say, as I am betting the TI is not that good of grade and will burn up soon.

😂 thanks for dropping in. In all honesty it's doing absolutely fine and with regular use too! No significant warping issues "no more than the steel version" and shows no signs of failing to be honest. It's lighter, cools down quicker and performance wise there is no difference. Go for it 😉

Looks like a well thought out design and the cylindrical profile should prove robust, I prefer something a little more mechanically minded. And the bushbox has proven itself throughout years of use for me. Thanks for stopping by. Take care.

I really like how simple it is in a smart way.
No parts that can fail. Super lightweight and you are not limited to only small sticks lile with other stoves.
While it is not a full gasifier I noticed it also burns cleaner than other wood hobos.
My second most liked is the lixada titanium tower stove
