I stopped watching when I saw him light the cigar by pointing the torch directly at it and inhaling... bro doesn't even notice & taste he's inhaling straight butane but expects us to trust his review 😆
12:56 he clearly is just enjoying himself man. It doesn’t always have to be by the book to get a review. Especially w somebody getting into cigars like this guy. I personally enjoyed his review more than all the fancy reviews that are “proper”. I laughed a ton and related to him, and smoked the same cigar along w review video w him and found the cigar delightful, along w his content. I guess it’s not for everyone as I can see expertise as a thing cigar people often seek w content revolving around cigars. To ea their own and it’s not like his review was inaccurate or bad, as it garnered more views than others who are “professional” cigar smokers.
Just smoked my 1st Pledge today. Incredible. All EPC cigars are phenomenal!! I'm all in on this brand. EPC is an everyday choice of mine. Try the New Wave EPC! Historia and Allegiance are just as good. All have their own distinct flavor. I look forward to what EPC will do next! WOW!!!
I do tend to read reviews of the cigars I am trying, and like you, I cannot say definitively that I can pick out the components of the flavor profile identified by reviews. But, I’ve smoked enough varieties to know what I enjoy…..and The Pledge is becoming my go to stick.
I try not to read any reviews or flavor profiles until I have tasted the cigar myself. This gives me a unique review and really gives me an idea if my pallet is on point.
Love the My Father cigars. This Pledge is up there for me with Flor De Las Antillas, H Upmann by AJ Fernandez, the My Father Connecticut and the Davidoff Golden Band. I like those mild-medium sticks nothing too complex, but pair well w coffee.
They are hyping up the pledge too much...its a fantastic cigar but there are many many other fantastic cars out there. i for one think the opus x destino is the best cigar i ever had.
The EP Carrillo Pledge, the Plasencia Alma del Fuego, and the Padron 1964 Natural Torpedo are my top three favorites, with the Pledge probably being my no. 1.
@@iamthegamepro Some of the Opus X's are great, others are not worth it, but the Pledge stands up there next to them, and it's 1/2 to 1/3 the price, depending.
I went to one of the best lounges in Wisconsin to have access to sticks that my local B&Ms dont carry. I had a similar experience. From light up until the tiny nub that was left when I was done with it, I was blown away. I had no idea a cigar could be that good. Best I ever had. Amazing smoke!
That sounds absolutely pleasant! You said it's not bold but not light either, maybe you could say it's heavy but smooth? Would that be the description you were looking for?
I strongly agree..damn great cigar! I also tried the Pledge Sojourn and Apogee but the Prequel is overall the best. By the way your review is so funny I almost fell out of my chair!
Good video man. Try La Historia in E-III and Parientes vitola. Also, try Seleccion Oscuro from EP Carrillo. Despite getting a high rating it still flies under the radar.
I had a cigar that was similar to your pepper experience, but the notes were orange and nuts. Think of eating a handful of nuts with maybe a orange wedge. It was a eye opener for me.
Definitely the pepper scent is amazing. Like you where harvesting fresh peppers then rubbed you face. It has that good salsa that burns after the taste. Cocoa beans, lightly roasted coffee beans and caramel.
I was disappointed in the Pledge But love the EP Majestic, have you had a chance to try the Rocky Patel ALR or my all time favorite Joya de Nicaragua Numero Uno. anyway nice videos
You could have went this is amazing the whole video and you did a i want to take thiss to my favorite places but i woould have loved to hear you remembering places or moments if tastes are just not your thing
Good video, very entertaining. Personaly one of the best, afordable cigar i had would be a the Oscar from Oscar valladeres. But the absolut best was a 21 year old Partygänger nr 2 I had just 2 day ago, absolutely fenominal.
This really is an amazing cigar (in both of its sizes). I heard of it through the always entertaining ruclips.net/video/C8Kbd3lOZ1Q/видео.html, who also pair it with some bourbon (that I haven't yet tried). My comments say pretty much the same thing there... the best stick of last year - and this year too, so far!
I assume this is very heavy satire, because this is one of the most boring cigars I've ever had. I seriously regret buying just ONE cigar, when I could've bought absolutely any other cigar
1) smoke and then read about what you experienced afterwards. Never before. 2) watch fights with the sound/commentary turned off. 3) Smoke a Laranje by Espinosa, Azulejo for your next review. Another @10$ price range. Curious about your thoughts on the 1st 3rd vs last 3rd...
I don’t know if it’s the best in the world, but I bought 12 boxes of em. Got La Historia & Encore in my humidor as well!
The way you lit that stick made me cringe
Hahahahahah
He had that flame all up in there😂
I stopped watching when I saw him light the cigar by pointing the torch directly at it and inhaling... bro doesn't even notice & taste he's inhaling straight butane but expects us to trust his review 😆
He doesn't savour the taste he just instantly exhales. I also feel as though he's not sure what he's doing lol
Every video he says or does something entirely stupid that makes you wonder who takes these reviews seriously.
He doesn’t really know what he’s doing. But he enjoys doing it.

The La Historia by EP carrillo is by far one of my favorites. The Pledge is really good, too, but not as good.
Dude you made me laugh. Great review. Definitely made me want to find one of these bad boys.
My local cigar shop finally got PC Pledge in! Never had one, it’s in my top 3, and I think it’s amazing! Thanks for your videos!

The Pledge is incredible. La Historia is another champ. If you like full body/strength, try La Historia by E.P. Carrillo.
The pledge prequel is still my favourite 💙 👌🏽
I love your videos man.
I really need to stop watching your videos on my lunch break. I don't have time to smoke a cigar right now.
Sitting here having one of those. Wow it is good. Great video. I'm in Knoxville TN.
I had one of these and i absolutely loved it. Wish i could afford a whole box.
Tabernacle, jacobs ladder give a try
Good video. Enjoyable, as always. @10:10, Conn. Is Connecticut leaf. Havana is a variety of tobacco.
Love the My Father cigars. This Pledge is up there for me with Flor De Las Antillas, H Upmann by AJ Fernandez, the My Father Connecticut and the Davidoff Golden Band. I like those mild-medium sticks nothing too complex, but pair well w coffee.

Loving the intros to your videos, freaking epic
The EP Carrillo Pledge, the Plasencia Alma del Fuego, and the Padron 1964 Natural Torpedo are my top three favorites, with the Pledge probably being my no. 1.
ive had opus x cigars that are better but pledge is up there.
@@iamthegamepro Some of the Opus X's are great, others are not worth it, but the Pledge stands up there next to them, and it's 1/2 to 1/3 the price, depending.
Good video, I need to try this one out.
And good humor during this.
Como mexicano te puedo decir que lo picante y lo picoso son cosas diferentes, como tu lo mencionas, la valentina es picosa, la salsa verde picante ;o
From Cali to Tenn here also. Glad to have ya in the South.
This is one of my faves to. Such a chocolate bomb. I can still smell it on me after ive finished it. I love all of the sticks in this lineup

Changed my mind on EP Carrillo cigars. In a good way. Really like this smoke. Thanks for the review.
Great video, keep em coming!
Nice job, beautiful song at the end
That sounds absolutely pleasant! You said it's not bold but not light either, maybe you could say it's heavy but smooth? Would that be the description you were looking for?
Ding! Agree. Smoked my first one two days ago. Wow.
I have yet to try this but it's on my list! Love the video
First video I’ve watched of yours and I love it. Only problem is that this cigar is sold out everywhere!!
Welcome to the club
Hey man I really liked the music and shots
Looks like they ran the wrapper through the Madur-o-matic machine.
I strongly agree..damn great cigar! I also tried the Pledge Sojourn and Apogee but the Prequel is overall the best. By the way your review is so funny I almost fell out of my chair!
I’m confused, did you like it though? 😁 Keep up the great vids!
Good video man. Try La Historia in E-III and Parientes vitola.
Also, try Seleccion Oscuro from EP Carrillo. Despite getting a high rating it still flies under the radar.
Lol. Not even top 10, but like your review!
I had a cigar that was similar to your pepper experience, but the notes were orange and nuts. Think of eating a handful of nuts with maybe a orange wedge. It was a eye opener for me.
watching this for the first time in 2024 and this was pretty funny.
This guy talks the way my brain thinks 😂😂😂😂😂
Definitely the pepper scent is amazing. Like you where harvesting fresh peppers then rubbed you face. It has that good salsa that burns after the taste. Cocoa beans, lightly roasted coffee beans and caramel.
Just started out, I really have enjoyed the Brickhouse by JC Newman. The darker the better IMO.
Brickhouse classic Robusto is my favourite cigar so far also. I've only tried about 7 or 8 so far
I concur.
I was disappointed in the Pledge But love the EP Majestic, have you had a chance to try the Rocky Patel ALR or my all time favorite Joya de Nicaragua Numero Uno. anyway nice videos
the ep carrillo la historia is also great. try the oliva melanio figurado, also a top 1, is my favorite right now
Just tried one this week….Sensational
You need to try the Sojourn size
what kind of lighter is that?
This must be master marketing I had EP Carillo pledge and it just sucked and it got to be cigar of the year? Somethings rotten Denmark.
Hoyo de Monterrey - Epicure #2 , all day every day , delicious!
One of my favourite cigars 🔥💨
The only reason is that he buys a lot of advertising on Cigar Aficionado
Sorry mate, just too painful to watch
LOL
oh god i have to agree… jittery… he prolly had way too
much cofi
You could have went this is amazing the whole video and you did a i want to take thiss to my favorite places but i woould have loved to hear you remembering places or moments if tastes are just not your thing
If you like pepper try a Punch Diablo
Good video, very entertaining. Personaly one of the best, afordable cigar i had would be a the Oscar from Oscar valladeres. But the absolut best was a 21 year old Partygänger nr 2 I had just 2 day ago, absolutely fenominal.
thats how I feel on the Davidoff Dominica
Best cigar I ever had was an Opus X angel share probably don’t make them anymore I just ordered one of yours let’s see
This is the highest rated non Cuban cigars on cigar aficionado, one of only 3 cigars to receive a 98 score.
EPCs are delicious little devils. Also try their Selección Oscuro Piramides Royal. My favourite of the bunch.
I need to try this cigar.
Is this one a toro size? It sounds amazing.
Try the EP Encore Majestic is better in my opinion. Cigar of the Year in 2018.
Check out durango cigars they are a microtobacconist in NY and make some awesome blends
That's what she said!
Just got a box. SO DELICIOUS. DAMMMMMMMN. THANK YOU.
“I don’t eat wood regularly” 😂😂😂
luv them got many boxes
First time I watch a cigar review and I feel like the reviewer speaks too much 🤣
Coffee + chocolate = mocha
This really is an amazing cigar (in both of its sizes). Please make sure to leave the California in California. The rest if the world would appreciate it.
Just don't like this cigar so many other Nicaraguan cigars are better with more flavor.
I feel terrible for that cigar
Cigar aficionado #1 ?
I assume this is very heavy satire, because this is one of the most boring cigars I've ever had. I seriously regret buying just ONE cigar, when I could've bought absolutely any other cigar
koo koo 4 coco puffs😉🤩
No such thing as the world’s best anything
