I recently bought one these and it is exactly what I wanted as it is large enough for several good size parcels and protects them from theft due to the lid receiver mechanism at the top which allows a parcel to be placed on an internal shelf which lowers the parcel to a lower level when the lid is closed and raises when the lid is opened so an arm cannot be placed inside to retrieve a deposited item. The box is heavy and well made from galvanised steel. I am impressed with the box. The price seems inconsequential when you realise that parcel deliveries need not be waited on but simply collected at your convenience in a very secure parcel box……
Put CCTV up to cover the box as some delivery drivers walk away with the parcels after they’ve taken a picture I have caught them doing this on my own CCTV
Very similar to the type I've been looking for. Handy video of this and it makes a change to see how it works, as all the blurb on this type of box never ever do this, The letter slot in this parcel box is somewhat redundant when you can simply lift the lid and drop any mail into the exact same space, as it all drops down to the bottom of this box. There are similar ones to this that are the same type and they cost way less as well (two years on from this video) you can get one for £200 or less. Use home security cameras with this as well. To prove that items have actually been delivered. As for that bar code, that seems to be a total waste of time. Especially when couriers scan items on the doorstep and also photograph them when delivered.
The flap is large, but it stops anyone seeing or getting to any post or parcels already in the box. If the box was already full of parcels, the flap wouldn't be able to drop down, so no new parcels could be added. Instead they'd have to sit under the lid, on top of the flap. So, not the flap wouldn't get caught, but instead, wouldn't drop down, so any new parcels would stay at the top. I've never had a problem. If you didn't have the flap, your parcels and post would be accessible to anyone opening the top, so you can't have it all. The parcel box is pretty large, so I doubt you'd find anything any better.

That lock looks like a Fisher Price lock...

Perfect, thank you.
Does rain water get in through the letter box?
We've had some pretty awful rain storms this year and no, no water has got inside.

Yep, the barcode is a waste of time.
@@anythingreviewed how’s it still going
How heavy is the box and can do you ensure no one just steals the box
You bolt or screw it to the wall or the ground (if on concrete).

Got a video of the video mailbox? The link isn't working
You could cut the arms of the lid with a bolt cutter and bend the shelf with a crowbar it doesn't look secure.
It's not a safe! If someone is coming to your house armed with bolt cutters and a crowbar, then they can break into your house and take a lot more.
