@@TheCornerCade why would would they sell it for $499 same price as the deluxe, the box literally said class of 81 arcade display. 🤷🤣 Stores like Target do not have the footprint to display full size cabs like a Best Buy, or Costco etc. What they do is put up a display like that and if you want one, they carry the stock in the back. They did the same thing with the Marvel Countercades when they were on sale, they just don't have the space to have these full size machines and even the Countercades fully stocked on the floor
@@pdirestajr not the case for a demo unit for a deluxe there are minor differences from this and the deluxe class of 81’ there isn’t a wood piece underneath the control panel for example.
Thanks for sharing Danny. I think there is a market for this product, just like many products out there. But 499 is too much. I can see this going for 249.99 and have the option of making it a 3/4 cab by buying the stand separately like Iircade and the MVSX did it. My guess it’s a title they have done well with sales and knowing the holidays are coming what better way to bank than selling more Pac-Man or Ms Pac-Man.
I'm going to start a new company to compete with Arcade1Up. I'll have two licenses and roughly 167 form factors for Pac-Man and Galaga. My company name is Pacalaga. Whaaat mic drop! 😂 It's all over man. I started buying their gen 1 machines when they came out with the hope they'd grow and get their cabinets to what we eventually saw with Pac-Man XL, minus the lighted buttons and had hoped for better controls/buttons. Would have loved to see them pump out Deluxe and XL cabs of titles they've already done, and all new classics. That dream is gone and it's not coming back. I have 30 A1UP cabinets and I think that's the final number 😢 Back to full-sized and options from other companies....
It's a display unit... that's what it says on the box, that's what it says on the front. Not a new form factor, and not something you can buy (besides, who would buy half a cabinet for $499?!).
$500 is a bit much unless it comes upgraded with good controls and a great but larger monitor. It's sorta feels like the folks in charge of decision making at this company, never were like the millions who hung in arcades. They just don't connect to what people are desiring. It's sad, because they have the potential to just dominate. Instead we watch a great idea get fumbled around until it's dead one day.

Also if its the same list of games we've been getting all the time. Also just realized this is a display lol.
It’s a fatter, more stable looking partycade imo. The originals were decent and better mounted on the wall. This would definitely be better sitting on a counter. The price….how in the F can they justify asking that? “Here’s half a cab for the same price folks!” Gtf outta here lol.

It's as demo unit for Deluxe. Target's shelves are too small for full size machine. There should be signage along with it on endcap.

That’s ok. But for 499, noooo. That’s disgusting. 200 is ideal. $250 is a stretch. Because you still need a base.

Quartless are selling countercade for 750. It has way more games but that's still extremely overpriced.
