i have them both. Google give you some practical experience y some topics and Comptia Security cover broader teorical terms. Best regards from Dominican Republic.
Hey James, I see you always popping up on my LinkedIn timeline, you’re doing great things, I’m focusing on getting all my certifications at the moment, would you be able to do a video on your studying method to pass all these certs? Thank you so much!
I’m not 100% sure but I would say that that includes the extra problems labs and quizzes. If you get the course you can see how long the video content is in each module
I would go Google cert since it does not expire. Comptia started expiring their certs in 2010. Also I like the flow and teaching methods of Coursera training when I did the Google IT support. Thanks for sharing JT!
I feel it isnt a matter of either / or ... but both. Use the Google certificate as prep for the sec+
Agreed! People generally do the Google one first.

That sounds about right! Thanks for the insight.

Sure will put that on my list!
Does 180 hours of Google “cybersecurity certification” only mean the hour time to watch? Or it inlcudes mcqs, problems etc as well?

Ah that’s something I didn’t think about. I agree that coursera does a good job at explaining the material. Thanks for watching!
