OK U Dřevnice - odlehčení 23.3. 2024 (Zlín - Louky)

Jeden z nejteplejších březnových dnů ukončila studená fronta, postupující přes naše území během odpoledních hodin. Šlo o docela táhlý pás přeháněk a bouřek, spojených do jedné linie. Na čele komplexu, rozpínajícího se přes celou výšku ČR, se na většině míst zformoval krásný menší shelf cloud, doprovázející nárazy větru. Bylo by hříchem ve volnu této události nevyužít a nezaběhnout se podívat na menší odlehčení v některé z odlehčovacích komor v okolí.
Téměř po roce, a že utekl, jsem se rozhodl zavítat zpět do odlehčovací komory U Dřevnice. Jak napovídá název ulice, pod kterou objekt leží, odlehčovací stoka z této OK vyúsťuje rovnou do řeky Dřevnice, protékající Zlínem. Minulou návštěvu jsem tu zachytil slabší odlehčení při večerní přeháňce dne 30.3. 2023, kdy se mimochodem uskutečnila velmi podobná meteorologická situace dnu na tomto videu, akorát hlavní linie bouřek byla silnější a koncentrovaná na menším území v okolí Prahy. Tentokrát tomu bylo jinak a díky tomu se na tom hlavním podařilo zachytit odlehčení na videu.
Ke komoře přicházím krásně na čas a stíhám udělat ještě pár záběrů na přicházející bouřku. Rozfoukává se a po přechodu dynamické oblačnosti na plochu povodí komory dopadávají první kapky dešťové vody. Odkud tečou vody do komory a další detaily si můžete prohlédnout v samostatném videu z jejího průzkumu. Během chvíle je povrch smočen natolik, že může voda volně začít stékat ze silnic do uličních vpustí a ze střech do okapů. To už jsem v komoře a tvořím záběr na přítok, ve kterém je vidět po několika metrech spadiště a slyšet padající vodu. Celé stoupání průtoku až k odlehčení jsem nechal ve videu bez střihu, abyste měli lepší představu o tom, jak dlouho to od začátku deště trvá a jak to vypadá. Také můžete poslouchat měnící se zvuk dopadající vody v závislosti na změně v průtoku (zejména poslední chvíli před odlehčením). Nevyhnutelnou poznámkou je, že tento déšť nebyl ani zdaleka nejsilnější a i odlehčení bylo spíše takové slabší až střední (odlehčovací stoka se dle všeho v maximu dokáže u výpusti plnit až do 75% profilu). Určitě však stálo za to. Přichází první přívalová vlnka, velmi nepatrná, a průtok začíná stoupat rychleji. Přítok DN 800 vodu vrhá do zatáčky doleva korytem ze žulových kostek přímo do škrtící tratě asi DN 200, dokud ta vodu nepřestane požírat. Chvilku před tím přichází další, už mnohem znatelnější vlnka. Prostor před přelivem se rychle plní, vodní masa se vzdouvá a poté volně začíná přeliv přes kolmou přelivnou hranu. Odlehčovací komora je - jak jsem jistě mohl dříve v popisu dodat - typu s kolmým přelivem, tedy přelivná hrana je kolmo k přítoku, chcete-li přítok kolmo na přelivnou hranu. Pěkné provedení přepadového prostoru se vyplácí a voda hezky klouže po žule dolů do pokračování DN 800 už jako stoky odlehčovací. Kromě několika malých spadišť na přítoku je jedno i na odlehčovací stoce. Všechna spadišťátka jsou vybavena obtoky, občas zanesenými, ale ten v odlehčovací komoře krásně funguje. Nevybavuji si přesně už, jak dlouho odlehčení trvalo, ale celkem to mohlo být mezi 15-20 minutami. Jakmile ustává, škrtící trať začíná bojovat s průtokem a nakonec vzdutou vodu požírá. Jsme zase na začátku, ve stoce je klid. Odlehčovací stoka se krásně pročistila včetně vzduchu venku, jehož teplota po přeháňce klesla o mnoho stupňů.
Toto odlehčení odstartovalo chytání dešťů v roce 2024. Sezóna může začít. Další odlehčení, zatím stále ve stejném městě, se povedlo zachytit o necelý měsíc později. Těšte se na něj v příštím videu!

In Denmark we are working hard to eliminate CSO, but its a very Big task. I really enjoy watching how combined sewers function during rain, we dont often get to see this. We mostly monitor waterlevels, but its very nice to see how things actually unfold. Keep up the good work, stay safe 😅

Your translations are definitely better than those on RUclips. I'm from Germany and a true German, but I can read English very well. I find videos like this very interesting. As a teenager, I also loved walking into large open sewer and rainwater pipes. But nowadays, bars are always put up to ensure that no one goes in there. It could be dangerous. Young people often don't have the know-how and don't even have a gas detector with them. A measuring device like this can save you from death, even if you just enter a storm drain.

Love seeing these! I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves exploring tunnels. Our sewers are not mixed with the regular water drainage tunnels here in my state in the US, but our infrastructure isn't complex either. That's why I really love Europe. The tunnels, the architecture above and below, the catacombs, and the history below each city and the cities themselves are incredible!

ahoj, proč je tam ta škrtící trať, proč se musí redukovat průtok vody ? díky
Jinak by komora nefungovala a vše by odtékalo dál do kmenové stoky. Ta by pak byla přetížená a stejně by se někde potom musela odlehčit. Škrtící tratě a jejich velikost, umožňují rozprostření odlehčovacích komor plošněji a rovnoměrněji.

Kind of disgusting that all that sewage shit water has to overflow into the river during heavy rainfall events.
But its done like that everywhere no ways around it.
I guess its ok for the river since its very diluted sewage and the overflow doesnt occure too often.
