Well…now you own your Dream-Mog, as worked for so long to have it “on US soil”. A UNIMOG is surely a good choice, when it comes to off-road capability and reliability, beside so many other advantages. It’s exciting to work on this vehicle, but also a bit frightening to end up with wrong sized holes, etc. I would feel the same, to be honest. But this time, thanks grandpa, things went right. So, I’m curious and will follow up your Mog-project. You explain and conduct it all in an informative and enjoyable way and manner. I like it. Awesome job you guys. Savannah when drilling above your face PLEASE wear safety glasses. I had to get a metal sliver removed from an eye and it was nearly 2 years before I had full use in it again. Luckily it wasn't the centre of the eye. Stay safe and have a great week

Congratulations on your MOG! My wife and I are building a Stewart and Stevenson expedition vehicle. This last weekend, I installed our Tern Overland windows and door. Absolutely love them.

I guess you'll have to add some sort of ventilation for fresh air since that box is so well sealed. Especially running your stove and heater as well as breathing LOL
21:49 I was surprised you went free hand drilling, using a 90 degree rig and long drill bit is the way to go. Put some duck tape on the edge of that bracket to prevent scratches and prevent slippage.
Tape a straight edge along the path of the jigsaw so you get straight cuts.
Great episode! Those are the nicest RV windows I have ever seen and I will use them in the future! Another high quality build from @OurWayToRoam! Love your other build series! They have been very helpful to my shuttle bus conversion!
Like 8K in windows and a door.. had a buddy with a former Swiss army Mog.. great off road for a little while.. but exhausting on the highway or a long off road ride.. too bouncy and noisy..
like your channel, updated a few aspects of my own Unicell based on your build.. but mine is a factory insulated Unicell aero body on a 3500 Express with a diesel.. and all Artic Tern stuff in mine.. I never need more than 1000watts of heat and a a 3500 12V DC A/C good stuff.

Since those windows are not glass, can you install screen protectors like cellphones to prevent scratches?

Did you use any kind of sealant before you installed your windows? Love your channel by the way. I used FRP for my build and is NO fun to cut.
We didn’t! They sandwich themselves on the walls with the inside frame and outside window. The gasket should be enough to seal them. So far so good!
I used butyl tape on mine to keep any water out. let it squeeze out and trim. @@OurWayToRoam
Am I correct that it wasn’t necessary to have wood blocks to set the windows? Did you glue them in place and that’s good to go?

I am always pissed off by those sellers of expensive windows not being able to supply a quality CNC cut template with each window they sell.
How scratch resistant are those windows?
