Late Spring Canoe Camping With Friends In The Adirondacks. Lower Saranac Lake Pike Fishing Pt 1

- In this one, Stephanie and I get out to Lower Saranac Lake in the late spring to meet up with another awesome camping couple, Alan and Tracey from @AlansOutdoorAdventures! In fact, we had so much fun we pretty much forgot to film any part of us actually hanging out! I assure you though, great times were had by all. We had some amazing food and a great time hanging out fishing and camping this gorgeous lake. Like a few of my other trips, Stephanie takes off leaving me solo for a few days until I meet back up with John and Logan from the @ADKAddicts at our favorite lean-to, but that will come later in part 2. I hope you enjoy this video, there is some good fishing and beautiful views if you stick around for it. Thanks for watching!

Another great one Jay, congrats to Stephanie on the nice start. I am so jealous of you and John and Logan, I had a couple of trips planned for this year to the ADK before gas prices went crazy. Hopefully they will be back closer to normal next year, I would love to be able to fish and camp with you for at least a couple of days next year. Waiting anxiously for pt.2.

As always, great vid, Dax. My 2 brothers and I are getting out there in mid May. Same site 😊 Hoping we get into some pike and maybe a few fat perch. Have a good year in the ADK!
You will definitely get into some action. Try using some of those Perch as live bait, works every time!

Another nice video! I have been watching Alan's channel as well, glad to see all the ADK peeps collaborating. I am heading up to eighth lake campground next week, hopefully I will get some nice fishing and exploring in. Looking forward to part 2!

About 20 years ago I was in lower Saranac and late at night a storm came through and lightning hit a pine tree in our sight and it wound up being tooth picks very bad storm
It can definitely get rough out there!

Definitely one of my favorite places to be in the early spring and late fall. It gets a little busy during the summer, but still an absolutely gorgeous place to recreate.

@@DaxWoodsWanderer I paddled up to a weasel or mink that was swimming far from land, fast little guy, hope bears don"t swim to the islands. stayed on an Island campsite,I think it was site 22.Great video.
Great video along with the rest on your channel, I have been plagued with a knee injury that has had me sidelined of late. It's awesome to be able to "join" you and your fellow outdoorsman from the comfort of my living room while I recuperate from surgeries. Looking forward to getting back out in the adk's soon, maybe I could show you some secret spots in the central adk's 😉. Great videos man!
