Thanks very much for posting this. Fantastic! I saw MLV and Kanyakumari play together in London in 1980. A concert that had a huge impact on me. I remember they delivered an RTP in Todi with a spectacular ragamalika.
Samajavaragamana and Rama nee samana mevaru are a couple of MLV's best pieces which exemplifies the vibrant gamakas of her mesmerisingly melodious voice and her matchless mastery of even the remotest intricacies in her delineation of the raga. South Indian classical music becomes peerless in the hands of such expert exponents like MLV.

MLV was such a great guru that she left no stone unturned to see that her disciple smt Sudha succeeds her,even recommending to her husband that her disciple continues to pursue her career. Such is the greatness of a true Guru, such is the love and affection for a disciple. Gurus showers so much grace on their disciples, truly like a God on earth for their sishyas.
MLV is unique. for her generosity and for instinted mentoring of sishyas. she was the only great atrist who was alos a great human being. she gave away to to hers, and even her music was not kept for herself. she was noble soul and hope her sishyas continue this sharing of knowledge.
