Great video! Calgary looks so desolate though. No trees,,,just looks like barren ground.
it was probably recorded at the end of winter, when snow has melted but everything looks brown, the view is completely different in July/August..

The video was filmed in March, so just after the snow melted and before the spring rains.

Definitely would have looked better if the plane circled around to land facing west. Better view of the city and not just the suburbs way up there. Cool video though. Never flown over the mountains before
I was on the wrong side of the plane for the city, but the right side for the mountains. There really isn't a bad view into Calgary from the west. 😊
