This process is fairly simple, easy and fast. This fix requires very little tools and knowledge about plumbing. You'll need to purchase couple of parts on Amazon and that's it.

Just wanted to let you know Paul that you are the MAN! My son had a pluming company to come out and look at his E.445 issue and charged him close to $400 after spending 1.5 hours trying to talk to Navien support. He then left and he got a quote from this company that said they could fix it for an additional $800. So, I just checked RUclips and came across your video and I said BAM, this is the video! Ordered the parts and in 20 min had it fixed! So appreciate you guys sharing your knowledge with us! God Bless You Brother!

I had Navien NPE-240S2 installed last year in August. I got the Error Code 445-02. I would like to know if I need to change the water pump.

I have model number NPE-210S would it be the same piece for E445?
    The water heater look identical

It most likely will be. But just do a little more research but I'm sure you'll be fine with the same parts

I replace the flame rod and I still got the error 12 code

Replaced the part and withing hours the same code came back. No hot water. I unpluged the unit and waited 30 sec. pluged again and it's fine but thats what I had to do before I changed the part so I'm $15 out and back to square 1

    Really dirty ?
I missed that part of the video.
It couldn’t be polished with 800 grit wet/dry paper ? The replacement part looked no different than the part you removed. Very confused here Sir, and not questioning your expertise. Just confused is all.
