I'm not that familiar with black hairstyles, but what about twists (or I saw a style called twists out that I think would suit this aesthetic a lot)? I think with this aesthetic, the idea is mostly a bit messy, flowly hair that'll frame your face a bit, and I think black hair is well suited for this, even just a natural afro could work, depending on how it's cut. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of styles out there for black hair that will work (I actually dislike that for this aesthetic there is usually only one or two hairstyles recommended that are only suited for one specific hairtype).
It's not the complete same look (and it goes for the full dork look because that's his role), but my first thought of a soft boy-esqu black guy is Moss from the IT crowd, and most of his hairstyles through the show (also just the general haircut from the actor, Richard Ayoade) would fit for this aesthetic I think. It's just one example of black hair for this aesthetic I could think of (that also has the same vibe as the usual messy wavy hairstyle recommended), but I just think hairtype doesn't really matter for any aesthetic, just how you style it.
We need summer version of aesthetic fashion
For the hairstyle part what if your black 😢
Well, there goes your chance lmao

I think that softboy doesn't work well for black people, but if you insist, you can go for "afro-dreads"

I'm black, can someone suggest a softboy hairstyle for me
You can try a middle part hairstyle. It's really good.

Here's a thought: why not be original and dress according to your own aesthetic instead of chasing fads in order to make a statement?
