  • The Invert Cave is finally finished!! Who knew that invertebrates would be the first critters to move into the zoo? We LOVE how it turned out!!
Custom Reptile Habitats did a wonderful job creating the enclosures! Believe it or not, they were made from scraps from other projects, so they are recycled enclosures too! :D You can check out more of Custom Reptile Habitat's' enclosures here:

We'll also have a limited number of the invert cages available in our store!

Thank you for your concerns about people pushing the enclosures off the shelves! I forgot to mention it in the video, but we plan on drilling a hole into the shelf behind each tank, and dropping in a pin (of sorts) to act as a lock to prevent them from being able to get pushed back :)

Hey! I'm so exited to see the zoo, And everything seems like it will be so cool to see and learn, but I'm very scared of centipedes, so I'm not as excited for that lol. I have loved this channel for a long time and for months I've been excited for this zoo. I can't wait to see how everything turns out and you all are doing so good. I love you Ed and Emily, and I can't wait to *maybe* see you all in person!! Thank you for reading this, if you do, and maybe thank you for responding. The enclosures look great. One note though: I know that you want the animals to be visible for customers, but I think that the Asian Forest Scorpion and vinegaroon should be given deeper substrate. My Scorpion dug a 4 inch deep burrow and loves to hang out in there. Your enclosures plenty of hides, but there is something special about seeing them dig their own burrow. Just my 2 cents.
