- The Jhapa Rebellion is one of the infamous communists movements led by the former PM KP Oli, CP Mainali, RK Mainali and other communists of Jhapa which was a revolt against the Panchayat system. The Rebels were stopped by the the panchayat, assassinated at Sukhani and jailed for years and few rebels also broke out of prison in a dramatic way. Here's a story of THE JHAPA REBELLION.

The Jail break story is so exciting, my father's maternal uncle - Narad Bharadwaj was one of the rebillion among the 17 to break the jail. The story is itself a movie in it. I remember him reciting those stories about how they broke the jail & this video made me recall all those stories
