What i love about this is the fact that it points out “crude oil has gone up in price and Bush is sending more men but we’re doing nothing” which was the reality of it all

I think what i would always respect regardless is that when instructors punish you; it is not like they go to bed after telling you to do so. They go with you, run with you and stand with you in the heat and rain.
This is a good regiment, keeps you combat ready and you learn to operate in the environment that you’re gonna be fighting in, it’s sucks but It can increase your chances of survival.

well no. if you are not panicing because you are afraid of this rubber thing around your head, you can breath pretty normal, as long as the gasmask is functioning propperly. during military service i wore one for 48 hours with running, sleeping, showering and also going to the sauna. it was not comfortable, but the breathing worked just fine.

All the guys are horny over Swoff's girlfriend because she took some racy photos. Then one guy wants to show all the other guys his wife and he's very excited to do this. He shows a photo of her and she's pregnant, and most of them are grossed out and one fatshames her. But he says "look, she pregnant! That's what makes her beautiful" that was a wholesome and heartwarming moment right there.
At the end of the movie she's still with him while they enjoy time with their family.
