So happy to hear that clutch pulls and egg hatching videos are coming back! I was so bummed when you stopped posting them. However, it would be really cool to see a follow-up video to some of the hatches. You often mention how the colors and patterns in newborns arent fully developed and that as they age they look different, it would be neat to see the snakes after a couple months. Would also love more information about the various morphs and how they play out when crossed.
As much as we also love the clutch pulling an egg hatching videos, we also do enjoy providing you guys with a variety of content of all our friends here at the zoo. We don’t always have clutches to pull. When we do we keep some of them but I majority of them go to other zoos or people. So we don’t always do follow up videos
Thanks Jay!!!! You are correct….we want all the cutting and hatching with the lovely reveal of what’s in the eggs. Can’t wait to see them! Beautiful snakes too.
Definitely these videos of securing the eggs from the snake and probably more so the hatching and different kinds. It would be interesting to then see the snakes 6 months or a year on to see their size/development. Also interesting to know how many snakes you have altogether, how many pythons. Thank you for keeping us entertained.
I’m also a Seattle Seahawks fan. I just wondered if you had any connection with Seattle Jay? I had family there near Alki Beach and had 5 amazing holidays, so naturally follow all their sports teams. I’m from England by the way.
She is an awesome snake- absolutely beautiful! I love watching the egg videos and the hatching videos. As a former snake hater, you have (slowly) been converting me!
Wow she was gorrrrgeous!!!😍 id love to own a snake like that...just maybe not as big lol JAY!! YOU LOOK AMAZING!!!! WOW TOTAL TRANSFORMATION!!! Good for you, that takes a lot of hard work and effort. ❤
My favorite type of video is the babies hatching. I love seeing the babies and I love how excited you get when you see them. It so fun to watch. P. S. I think you should ignore what people are saying and just go back to using your razor to open them. You seem to do better that way.
Jay you look mahvalous I always enjoy listening to you as you gather a clutch of eggs. You are so knowledgeable and interesting. You and Julia are two of my favorites. your passion for what you do shows. thank you for the great content. (Good job Matt)
As someone who has been a part of the aquarium and reptile hobby for 18 and 12 years respectively, I see a lot more “defensive” strikes from reptiles, people actually just get bit for the hell of it by their fish
I like watching the snake eggs hatch. Also I would like to see an update on what they look like in a month or before you sell them what ever you do with them. I don’t know as I just found your channel today and subscribed so I would like to see more snake videos. Me and my hubby had snakes but we had to move and our place we moved into they didn’t allow snakes. If I remember right they wanted to up our rent if we kept our 2 snakes. I think an extra 500 a month. And we couldn’t do that because we were getting our snakes expensive food cause we spoiled them. But if we kept them we wouldn’t have been able to spoil them and keep them healthy like that. So we gave them away to someone who was able to do that. It was sad cause we had them for 2 years. We even had 2 turtles but we had them longer when they were babys and when they got bigger we got a big tank built for them. And nothing wrong with the tank at all but our landlord found out and said we had to get rid of them because he didn’t want the flooring to get recked. But our tank never leaked. And the house was old and not in good shape and house got flooded by rain no joke. So now we only have 2 dogs and 1 cat. We love animals. We never had dogs or cats but that’s what was allowed in the homes we rented. We have 8 year old female dog a 1 year old female dog and an 8 year old cat. We had a 14 year old male dog but he past away 3 years ago or so.
Jay, glad you are back with these videos. Also looking good, there are some notible healthy differences in your appearance, or I just haven't see you in a while. Either way keep it up.
@JayPrehistoricPets A little worried to ask, but how is Tim? Hope he is sharing your health regime. Like you, He is a good looking guy and has a lovely nature.
hello there my friend! I do appreciate your suggestion and it is indeed fascinating to document the breeding and feeding the baby snakes, but it can actually sometimes be challenging due to various factors such as the need for a controlled environment and respecting the well-being of these creatures.
