Thanks for showing us how to use this comb! I love your rich natural color. If you ever get tired of your long hair, a shorter chin-length or shoulder length cut would look terrific on you. You have the bones to make it look elegant.
I finally figured out how to use this after many years of having one, only I do it in reverse. Have used it for several weeks now but it just broke so I will be getting another. It's the greatest and it looks nice in my hair (I think). It feels nice, too, and it does comb your hair a little when you're out. Good video for those who don't know how to use it.
Being a guy I've never really had to use these with a short cut but since I've decided to grow out my hair lately I've been wondering how these things work. Thanks for the video. It's helped
Last night I had a nightmare that it was picture day and I couldn’t figure out how to put my headband on. Even as a kid I couldn’t figure these things out but idk why it’s haunting me at 27. Anyway, this was helpful. Thank you!
I can remember everyone wearing these in the 90's i had a bright red one when I was a kid but my mom snapped it. So when they came back in style of course I had to get another set haha.
Thank you for this! Someone recommended these because of my short strays of hair from my ponytail and then later I get a headache because of the pressure with it being on an injured area. Takes care of at least 2 Problems!! Can’t wait to try them out at Disney!! ❤
I am 52 and used these a lot when I was a teenager. I purchased some through Amazon so waiting on them to arrive any day now. My hair is down to my waist and I only know how to put it up in a ponytail, a messy bun or barrette. I am running out of ways to fix my hair.
I used these decades ago but I would bend over, flip my hair in front of me, put the comb on my head and hairline and close it behind my head. Then flip my hair back and adjust the hairband. Only takes a second.
Thanks for the video. My hair is not near as long as yours, but definitely longer than my picture (the back longest layers touch the base of my neck) and I also have thick hair. I put it on the way you demonstrated, except that I have some bangs. The headband slid through my hair, half way up the back of my head, so I doubt I'll be using this while I grow my hair out longer.
Hello! I hope your well. Thanks for your comment. The headband does slide off my head too, but I noticed it happens more so when my hair is freshly washed or straighten. But I found that adding a little bit of hairspray to your hair makes the hair strands just a little tacky that the headband stays on the head better. These kinds of headbands are great from the summer time. I hope you have a Great Day!
Hello I was curious as to what vitamins you were taking to grow out your hair?? I been trying to stop dying mine and let it grow out but it seems like it’s taking longer than usual. Thank you for your video I just bought my comb headbands but it has been forever since I wore them and I have slot of baby hairs in the front but tired of hair spray and chemicals so thank you!
What if you make a little front "bump it" at the bang area, like grabbing the bangs and pulling them out a tiny bit so it gives front volume without the bang hairs flipping out the back.
Damn savages... Use CLEAR tiny zip ties in 2 places to hold it to the package. Lol, I can laugh now but... Come on! All 3 broke because I didn't notice the second one. Using them while growing my hair out.... Thanks for the tips!
Hello! I like using the Vitafusion Gorgeous Hair, Skin & Nail Gummies. You take 3 a day, everyday and I’ve seen my hair & nails grow faster! I recommend them!
@@VanicaSymone up until the part where she started pulling it into her hair, she was right. But you would actually flip your head and hair upside down while you pushed it into your hair. It caused you to get a lot of volume and hight in your hair.
@@VanicaSymone I'm very sorry, I didn't mean to insult you. I had been looking for pictures that showed it worn the way we used to. I got frustrated while watching you get the first part right, but didn't do the last part the way we all did back in the early 90s.
great advice, works just as well for men's hair too! thanks!

I’m trying to bring these back this summer
Last night I had a nightmare that it was picture day and I couldn’t figure out how to put my headband on. Even as a kid I couldn’t figure these things out but idk why it’s haunting me at 27. Anyway, this was helpful. Thank you!
Thank u my Angel! I was struggling and trying to figure out how to use it.

You talked more about your hair than the headband

Problems!! Can’t wait to try them out at Disney!! ❤
You have beautiful hair! ❤
Thank you. I recently inherited one and needed this tutorial
Thank you for these instructions! I never knew that those bands could unclip in my life time! I will try it out again real soon. Thanks again.
Thank you for uploading
THANK YOU so much🥰
Omg these were popular in high school, I’m 38 now so that was like 20 to 25 years ago

I have a couple and they stretched out so they don’t really keep my hair in place anymore is there anyway to revert it to its old shape?
It's how I have been doing now I know for sure, lol. Problem is they stretch out after 1 or 2 uses. To get longer usage I cut some of it off.
God i remember this!! Ive lost mine 🤣
Thank you for the tutorial!!!! Love this😄

Tank the godz I found this I've been struggling
Glad this helped you Mel (:

Thanks for this! Was looking for an androgynous option for keeping my kid's hair out of their eyes. Looks like I'll be getting a few of these!
Glad this video helped Koda!
Really helpful! Thanks for making this vdo🙂
Omg ty I literally never knew how ty
Samee
Tips for wearing if you have bangs? When I put mine on my bangs flick up lol

Thank you, I was struggling on how to wear this thing
I’ve heard a lot of people really struggling with this headband so I decided on making this video! Have a great day!
Thank you for this I didn’t know what these were for but now I do
Yay! I am glad the video helped 💕
Thank you 😊
I've long hair like yourself and I wonder if there's a way to do a mowhawk style with the flexicomb hairband?
Try a plastic comb clip, looks like an alligator. haha that’s how I did it in the 90s
actually helped, hope this works for my curly hair! i have the exact same comb headbands and accidentally snapped one lmao
Bless you
Thank you so much, I have been doing it totally wrong!!
There is no right or wrong way, as long as you wear it confidently!
Hi mam Where can we both these item please tell me
Hello, some people buy them online but I got mine at the Ulta Beauty Store
Gracias!!
Damn savages... Use CLEAR tiny zip ties in 2 places to hold it to the package. Lol, I can laugh now but... Come on! All 3 broke because I didn't notice the second one.
Using them while growing my hair out.... Thanks for the tips!
You're supposed to flip it and then push it forward, to " lock it in " .
Which vitamins to grow your hair? I lve these headbands but hard to use!
Hello! I like using the Vitafusion Gorgeous Hair, Skin & Nail Gummies. You take 3 a day, everyday and I’ve seen my hair & nails grow faster! I recommend them!
I use Nature’s Bounty Hair Skin and Nails. I’ve taken the pill version as well as the gummies. They both work well and no tummy aches
You should do Vlogs lol 💘😋
As a man I couldn’t make heads or tails of these
I just flip my head down so I skip the stabbing neck part... It gives it more volume too.
Thanks already knew but they didnt come with instructions so after a year of giving up watched this video. Didnt know they came apart though, thanks

How do you wear these Allison

Your ok Miss Allison ✨ No insults taken. I love learning and am happy to know other ways to wear this headpiece. That’s how we learn 😊
@@VanicaSymone Thank you. I should let you know, it wasn't a good look.
