And it's true! Pacheco is a South Jersey guy (Vineland) as is the Colts Jonathon Taylor (Salem). Franco Harris (Rancocas Valley) and Baltimore Colt great Lydell Mitchell (another Salem guy) were also from South Jersey.
The champs sure dominated Miami. The Dolphins couldn't handle the weather and they made Rashee Rice look like he was Jerry Rice.

In those conditions... Yeah that was impressive on the kicker's part. Kickoffs we're being fielded on the 20 and most looked like squibs. Miami's punter was shanking off 20 and 30 yard punts. Not sure if you ever played football in the cold, or ever played football at all, but that ball feels like a brick when it's cold. This game was beyond cold. Kicking an anvil in a playoff game deserves a little more credit.

Some people in Chicago (some radio sports guys), said recently that weather's really not a factor when it comes to the Pros, thus, they want Kevin Warren (Chi Bears President) to build a domed stadium to replace Soldier Field ("It'll be warmer for the fans."). To those guys, I say two words: MIAMI DOLPHINS (who lost to the Chiefs tnite and Bills last week). To Kevin Warren, I say: Build a new stadium where the "elements" ARE a factor. Sometime in my distant dreams when the Bears DO manage a home playoff game, it could make all the difference (besides it's a lot more fun when football is played OUTSIDE -- on REAL grass, or "the frozen tundra").
I think Miami lost to Buffalo at Miami, weather definitely affects warm weather teams more though.
They want to host a super bowl and have a year round event space, so its going to be a dome. I will miss those snow games though.

Pacheco is unquestionably the key this year. The chiefs don't have the supporting weapons through the air to consistently move the chains in a pass first offense, but in a smash mouth game where the run opens up play action...yikes.

It was just the paint chipping and cracking off the helmet because of the temperature. Other than the paint, the helmet wasn't damaged. It wasn't a hard hit.
That wasn't paint, it was definitely the shell of the helmet breaking. Also the helmet cracking probably helped in not getting a concussion, the energy of the contact was dispersed better than if it would have stayed intact.

Well not gonna lie this is one of the times where I think I can confidently say that home field for the chiefs was definitely an advantage. The weather seemed to be a huge advantage .Miami wanted no part of this weather. They didn't want to tackle anybody. The Chiefs just flat out wanted it more

Great to watch them light up lower level teams but in the elements vs playoff caliber teams they are too soft. Until they get a big physical possession wr and some smash mouth defenders they'll be one and done every time

remember Tua's first couple years where he was constantly benched for Fitzpatrick in the 4th quarter and he got concussed every time a defender touched him...... McDaniel's system and Tyreek/Waddle have masked how average Tua really is...... when the pressure is on and HE has to step up and make a play for his team, it seems to end up in a defensive backs hands every time........ any do or die/win and you're in/actual playoff game he's ever played in the NFL, he's been BAD in EVERY SINGLE ONE of them
This isn't on Tua. Their play calling was questionable all game. The play action was working to sustain a couple of drives and yet they went away from it

LIke the U2 song, there's been some talk about the Chiefs, maybe a little too much talk. Michael Irvin and all the other fools that have already dismissed KC get paid way too much for their incompetence. Irvin has done it before so he should know better. If you take away a couple horrible calls and a lucky desperation throw to Tyreek, this was a 30-0 beatdown. And all this in weather that was so bad few have played in. Does any sensible person think KC is worried now about going into Balt or Buf if need be? If they play BUF which is likely, 2 extra days of rest for KC which is huge. People doubted Mahomes should know better by now. Nick Wright may be a Chiefs homer almost to a fault but he's often right. When he said KC uses the regular season as a tune up and not to worry about some things, that the playoffs are when things start for real. That time is now, and everyone saw it for themselves in horrific conditions. GO CHIEFS!

I am furious that nfl exclusively streamed a playoff game on peacock which is one of the worst platforms by far. We begrudgingly paid to watch the game and tried to watch the replay. NO REPLAY AVAILABLE!!!! We immediately cancelled subscription as I’m sure many fans will do.
Ridiculous making fans pay a subscription to watch one game. Ludicrous selecting the worst of all the steaming services that have nothing to offer. You should be ashamed to make people who are struggling to make ends meet to pay for something we have always gotten and deserve to get without additional charge to the already exorbitant fees we already pay for cable
To be honest, dominate is too soft of a word. They obliterated the Dolphins, and the Chiefs didn't even look 100%. Tyreek Hill's TD was the only bright spot in the entire game for the Dolphins, and they were already at a disadvantage even before that.
