Walk tour in Greenville neighborhood | Jersey City, New Jersey

A walk tour inside part of the Greenville neighborhood of Jersey City, New Jersey, USA from John F Kennedy Blvd to Ocean Avenue and from Warner Ave to Columbia Park. The walk starts next to the Greenville branch of the Jersey City Public Library on John F Kennedy Blvd, then Warner Avenue, then I walked around thru some of the streets, including part of Martin Luther King Dr, Ocean Ave, Rose Ave, Triangle Ferris Park, to Danforth Ave, to all the way to Columbia Park on Bartholdi Ave to JFK Blvd. Filmed on March 24, 2023 at 6:22 pm. Greenville, Jersey City is a neighborhood located in the southern part of the city. It is a big area, so this film only encompasses part of it. Some of the main commercial avenues are Martin Luther King Dr, Ocean Avenue, Old Bergen Road, and parts of Rose Avenue by the Triangular Ferris Park. Danforth Avenue is another main street that crosses the city, from near Route 440 to Princeton Ave. There is a light rail station by Danforth Avenue east of Princeton Avenue. #greenvillejerseycity #jerseycity #newjersey

What a great snapshot of this area of Greenville JC, my old stomping grounds growing up while visiting my grandparents who lived at Rose Ave. and Long St. has gone through many changes over the years, but what I see most of this area is on the upswing, pride of ownership returning for the mostly one and two family homes on these blocks. It is my hope that this area continues to improve and thriving......

Got a bunch of peeps from this side of town. They don't live there anymore but Went back recently to get some fronto leaf and liquor omw towards union city. One thing i will say as a medium skin Puerto Rican. If you don't start no 💩 and got good energy they show love on some random chat. .go-illa / down and dirty tribe 🙏

I grew up right there in that yellow and brown house in front of Columbia Park funny but I never knew that was the name we always called it Winfield Park

i lived at 221 winfield ave in the early 70s i also always called it Winfield park. I went to ps#30 school.

I mean a real tour would have been from 🤔 the light rail down towards curry woods on MLK
I moved in 09 myself and I frequent the visit but to only certain places. I’ll always love jersey city born n raised
