Great tips again Gleb and very funny.... but.... Duck that..... here is a blender animation for you. You win ... ruclips.net/video/hKxfENZd7GI/видео.html
@GlebAlexandrov you should mention Alb + B, also in UV/image editor when you open a image and press T, you can use Histogram, Waveform, Vectorscope and Sample lines. Just a few ideas for the next episode :)
For .svg files, when import them into blender, convert them into mesh, run the limited dissolve function which will clean up the mesh, you can knife project geometry on the flat surface of you need quads in the middle or just extrude it.
Regarding projecting textures from view - the cool thing is you can edit multiple objects at once in Blender 2.8, so you can project the UVs at once without the need to do it one by one.
You can also hit the forward slash key on the numpad to isolate your object and zoom in on selection instead of using Shift+H. Then you hit it again to exit isolation mode.
Gleb... I´m just starting to watch this video, but allow me to tell you that you are an inspiration to people like me that want to teach Blender to others and spread the Blender use in the industry, thanks for your videos, they are awesome!
All your videos inspire to want to make something, but I'm not artistic. I play a lot in blender just to keep my skills up, but all these tips are so amazing.
I'm getting great use out of the alembic import/export but when I import more than one alembic file, they stop showing up in my viewport. Anyone else have this problem?
Luke, that was not my idea, honestly. some time ago i stumbled across a tutorial with a guy using this technique to model some barrel (?). sadly I wasn't able to find it on youtube to link properly or even to rewatch it, lol .
I love your videos I think they are awesome, but I think to make them even better is to have software show the shortcut keys as you model so we have a reference.
some new features in blender i see . hey can u please tell me that why blender rotation gizmo does not works . anytime i try to rotate with the manipulator it doesn't rotate . i am really frustrated by this bug.
hy Gleb, i noticed that in Agent 327 in the animatic sequence there was the main character visible in the mirror in viewport mode.. HOW is it possible??is it a super secret tip? Howewer best tips ever :)
Am I the only one who thinks that the comma key on the numpad is the most efficient time server but nobody mentioned it? Select an object and press komma so it rotates around this object or selected verticies in edit mode (+in sculpt mode). But I don't see that people in most tutorials often uses it www2.pic-upload.de/img/34386273/Keyboard-vector-diffuse-1-HD.jpg
Hard Ops is great, however doing retopology of the models made with this addon can be tricky, especially with a lot of details. I heard Ice Tools Pro, which appears to be the alternative of Hard Ops, is made with some retopology stuff in mind, anybody can share their expierence?
i don't agree with your point of view about Elton John... but nobody is perfect ;) And big hug for share your very useful tutorials. I learn everything at every time you post a new one
haha, watching one of this quick tips compilations is like passing a test. if there was 1 new thing for you, then your blender knowledge is A, if there were 5 new things, then B- and so on.
Dude, one day when I gonna meet ya personally just by coincidence.I will just buy you a beer! oooooooR.....Awesome coffee! Great job Gleb, I appreciate every tutorial you have made.
ohhh man i really want that friking space vfx course!!! I would gladly buy it but problem is im only 14 yrs old and my mums credit card, well its hard to get to.
hahah, don't mess with your mom. moms could be dangerous (almost as dangerous as grannies, when you get to their moneys). i know what i'm talking about.
Choose Your Coffee: If you like a more traditional, mild coffee, go with Folgers Classic Roast® Coffee. If you prefer strong, bold flavors, try French Roast or Black Silk varieties. Add Your Water: Fill the carafe with cold water to your desired capacity. Serving size: 6 fluid ounces. Measure water using a standard liquid measuring cup. Pour the water in the reservoir and put the carafe back on the heating plate. Measure Your Grounds: Add the desired amount of grounds to the filter: about 1 tablespoon per 5 to 6 fluid ounces of cold water for regular coffee, and 2 tablespoons per 5 to 6 fluid ounces for strong coffee. Or check out our helpful Measurement Chart and Cups Calculator. Turn On Your Coffeemaker: Put the filter basket back in the holder, close the lid, and turn on the coffee maker.

Thanks Gleb! Brilliant, insightful and quick as usual!
@ 10:50 can you animate like this as well? For example like snake movement?
by the way, the Flatten feature is included in an addon caleed looptools which is disabled by default
love these. super fast. gives me a ton of info and streamlines my workflow
Seriously though, the shortcut to align relative to an edge is really handy.
Any chance of a tutorial or spotlight focused on HardOps? I've been interested in that one a while but it's really intimidating to get into!
Will smoke simulations also export to alembic?
Useful, interesting and accurate. Thanks Gleb for sharing with us your knowledge!
Pietro, it's pretty enjoyable process, to record this stuff I must say. ))
Do you know how to enable AO in editor mode in the new blender version?
Gleb. I could listen to your dreamy voice all day long
15:19 Ctrl+Shift select on diagonally!?
Thanks for Alt+Ctrl+Space!!
I'm getting great use out of the alembic import/export but when I import more than one alembic file, they stop showing up in my viewport. Anyone else have this problem?
Modeling with cloth simulation that way is pure genius.
Luke, that was not my idea, honestly. some time ago i stumbled across a tutorial with a guy using this technique to model some barrel (?). sadly I wasn't able to find it on youtube to link properly or even to rewatch it, lol .
Gleb Alexandrov Well you know, now you've taught me.
Always useful and to the point, thanks Gleb!
How about Orginizer.py the script that helps with orginizing the folders of huge projects?
