you have no idea how much i wanna hug you right now, thank you for this. i just spent hours and hours trying to figure out how to get my pupils to hide with the eye, Adobe's documents and tutorials do not mention how simple this was to do, just create a clipping mask, wow, that easy.
Thanks! This was just the help I needed. I mean, I haven't actually Implemented it on my puppet yet to see if it works, but I have confidence that it will!
Thank you very much, although, mine still with the origin in the pupil and everything , not even with the mouse is working. At least it should go out of the eyeall with the right pupil range, but still nothing of movement for the eyes. Is not the camera strenght, nor the mouse, i put it already to the top and nothing happens. With the default puppets everything works, is just my puppet the one that is not working. Edit, checked the debug, and manage to fix it.
Thank you SO much for this video, I am an animation student currently and suddenly I was having issues where one pupil would move around but the other one would not and nothing in the puppet file changed so it was very frustrating to try to figure it out. Thank you!
Grif - I followed all the tips in your video but for some reason one of the pupils on my puppet is off doing it's own thing. Can you think of any other reason why that might be happening? Thx for your help :)
Same.. spent hours on it.. one eyeball just goes random.. rebuilt it several times the MF'r... works fine when eye gaze is switched off.. blink works fine.. but eye gaze on it goes crazy..
What can I do when my eyes move independently from the head? They are under the head layer. in the property panel, it is set up attached to 'auto'. I have tried to add a fixed handle or pin but it doesn't seem to work. I am sure it is a silly thing. Thanks. Please make more of these videos they are very helpful
HI, i'm having a little trouble all of the sudden. I've created many pupets and all was workign fine then at the last stage of recoreding my eyes are all messed up. I've even tried creating new eyes with no luck. The pupil never stays in the middle when I go to rig mode. and Even warps the face when I use the keyboard. Any suggestion?

You my friend are a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you!
Question: how do I move the handles attached to the pupils? I can see them but cannot select or move them and its driving me bonkers. THanks much!!
You can only move a handle if it is tagged as independent. The pupil should have that tag if you want them to look around.

I'm sorry it's hard to say without looking at the puppet.
@@GrifNMore no worries. I found out it was caused by the handle of the jaw.
Nice!
