I had been using my usual obsessional pre cleaning regime and the same products in an ultrasonic tank prior to this, so I was able to make a comparison over time. The differences were dramatic. I've never had to cycle my machine more than once and yet the US often needed 2-3 cycles. The drying process is also significantly quicker. To put a figure on it, previously I would set aside a whole evening (4 hours) to clean a movement. Thats now dropped to 90 minutes.
I have a motor and stand on the way and most of the components to build mine. Thank you for sharing your process.
Well done. How is the bearing attached?
Can you give us a list of components that you used in producing the DIY machine? Thanks!!
The spin off cycle seems very aggressive, especially with no deacceleration, it just stops. Is the parts not being banged around ?
Did you get good cleaning results? Thanks for the video
