    Nice! So fortunate you got the inner shaft bearing out so smoothly. Mine was totally pressed in. Ive got the same machine, I was debating into purchasing a newer L&R but on a Facebook watch group this guy figured out how to make the motor ascillate. So i will be doing it on my machine and will post a video of the upgrade.

    Thanks for the video! Started restoring mine yesterday. It did work as I received it 2 days ago, so that's reasuring. I was in fact taking the motor out of it's case this morning, planning to change all those old electric wires. I wasn't sure how to remove the arm from the motor.. glad that you showed it to me. Thanks!

    dang wish you filmed the wireing on the motor. im at that step now.

      Not fun! Lol i used some medical forceps to grab the smaller wires and pull them out enough to solder them. This machine is now for sale if youre interested i recently picked up a slightly newer master.

      Sandpaper increasing to 3000g started at 400 i think. Then your typical solid metal polish with a die grinder and i think a wool wheel on it
