Nice! So fortunate you got the inner shaft bearing out so smoothly. Mine was totally pressed in. Ive got the same machine, I was debating into purchasing a newer L&R but on a Facebook watch group this guy figured out how to make the motor ascillate. So i will be doing it on my machine and will post a video of the upgrade.
Thanks for the video! Started restoring mine yesterday. It did work as I received it 2 days ago, so that's reasuring. I was in fact taking the motor out of it's case this morning, planning to change all those old electric wires. I wasn't sure how to remove the arm from the motor.. glad that you showed it to me. Thanks!
Not fun! Lol i used some medical forceps to grab the smaller wires and pull them out enough to solder them. This machine is now for sale if youre interested i recently picked up a slightly newer master.

beautiful restoration! How did you polish and clean the center support? thank you!
Sandpaper increasing to 3000g started at 400 i think. Then your typical solid metal polish with a die grinder and i think a wool wheel on it
how much are you asking for the machine
It is sold already sorry
