The extra speed and weight may make it a little dangerous. It has a wide turning radius and the suspension may be a problem. But hay if I had one I'd throw a 1500w rear direct drive on it and a class 1 controller on it.
@@MusiCaninesTheMusicalDogs I suspect it’s because of a few things, cost, weight, complexity and size. These things are imo extremely overpriced in their standard, non suspension form. All the extra mechanical components are just gonna add to that. If the wheels are inboard they or the tilting mechanism needs to move, this movement takes up space meaning the body needs to be bigger to accommodate it and therefore less aerodynamic and also heavier.
Cool idea, this is something that I would have when I am a lot older, and also this tilting front duel wheels is a really good idea as you do not have to worry about the push that you can get with a standard duel rear wheel trike setup. A really cool idea.
Very nice work, idea and setup. The only big problem here will be to drive with the system loaded, it will make you have arms like Arnold... 😅 Therefor the traditional steering system exists; to make the wheels change directions and not the whole load. I personally will put the damper inside the lower arm, that way, it won't change it's geometry everytime you tilt. Good Job!
Very cool and well executed. I’m interested to see how you distribute any load carried in front and if you need to extend the wheel base (front to back) to keep the rear grounded.
This setup look like any excessive load in the front would resuslt in a loss of traction in the rear, so extending the lentgh of the bike seem to be a prerequisite. Your worry are real.
Porsche decided to place carrera's engine outside wheelbase at the rear of the car. They took this decision thinking of a car like more than an engine and four wheels. Passengers, bodywork and driving situations also affects to the traction behavior of the vehicle, especially at my design, carrying the weight of a human at the front, i think is possible, by the time a driver sitting at his possition. It would be a problem if I had no suspension on the front. In accidental breaking, the rear wheel would lose the ground if it was a little weight in front!
Awesome! This has so many applications. Would love something like this on a 30mph e-bike. Would also like a conversion kit that could be used on any bike. Let me know when I can buy one!
lol. congrats! you get 1000 points for entitlement. Is it really too much for you to just click on some points in the vid and then go somewhere else, if it wasn't what you searched for?
That thing is so cool! I would love the try that bike out. Also it would be really cool to see it with 2 wheels in the back. I don’t even want to think about what pulling a wheelie feels like. Oh wait, actually I do.
Hi, very cool looking trike. Does the bike part become less stable because the front wheel is no longer directly attached to the forks? And how do you lock out the tilting when you park it?
Add a cable operated locking device on the suspension to keep the bike upright during standstill. See other video's on the tube. Parts of a discbrake are used for that.
Good Lord with a Galea helmet and a Gladius in a scabbard riding this one almost feels like a Roman legionary! I jest but great design - maybe a wee bit narrower to be more nimble in cycling paths/urban environments?
No that's just powder coat. So the tubes didn't look very thick so it could be chrome molly which if you do it right can make a surprisingly light frame.
Awesome design. Very well engineering. 👏👍 My father had an accident so now I have a tricycle to take “walks” with him and this would be perfect to add to it. Please tell me what I need to do for you to send me the blueprints or the cad Project of this?
Hola, tengo esclerosis y me gustaría convertir mi bicicleta en un triciclo por la estabilidad y me encanta esta propuesta que presentas me podías indicar como o donde hacerlo? Muchas gracias.
Excuse me, When the first two wheel positions are on the ground at different heights, the shock absorber can still maintain stability when tilted a few degrees.
It looks like each front wheel is connected to a hub, and the hub is connected to the frame by upper and lower controller arms. The single shock is connected to the top of both hubs and placed above the upper controller arms. could you not connect the shock to the bottom of each hub, and place the shock between the upper and lower controller arms? I think it would work, and compact the design.
My front suspension tilting kit is available upon request

Hi ! Could I put fat tires on it for example and could it handle a 30kg weight ? Thanks
А чем обычный волосапед не устраивает ? ))
How do I order one of these? When I click on link it goes blank? Pleases advise.
How many euros? If you sell it, i buy it!
That's the best design that I've seen so far. Wish I had one.
Agree
An e-bike in this configuration would be awesome!

Best concept lean-steer to a standard bike I've seen. Great engineering, hope it goes to production.
NOT a concept. Mother Earth News did this almost 30 years ago.. look it up.
@@demandred1957 Please provide links or description, i would be very grateful for this info.
where is the " making " part
Great looks of this old technology. Congratulations.
As a road bike for a single person I would say it is a roadhog. But as a bike to carry cargo or a person, great idea!
Roadhog as in compared to 4-wheel Godzillas? (cycling champion POV)
They are roadhogs too.
This would be great for a streamlined tilting recumbent.
Exactly! This is my project for a tilting velomobile: ruclips.net/video/uL7F5d7v-SI/видео.html
I don't understand why we don't see recumbent trikes with such technology being sold. There's gotta be a catch!

Um dos melhores designer de suspensão independente que já vai , ficou ótimo
Great bike, would work great for the upcoming winter riding season
Wow! Been thinking of something a bit like this for a while - but this is on another level.... Bravo!

you are very human sourcer in sharing your design
Now this is something I need when I go out to avoid commuting
misleading title, should not be making but showing us a tilting tricycle
Can we buy this bike somewhere in canada
He sales the blueprint to make it ;)
WOW! I love it. Very Cool! Thank you.
Here you get something creative and wonderful, free, costing only your time and attention, and still some people whine?
I'm going to try to make this with my everlast welder. I like the stability combined with the maneuverability.

Wow, thats amazing, i need one like that
I don't see the bike tilting, but the earth is.
Did everyone read "making"?
Or just me?
Title should be "riding".
1 dislike for clickbait.

Exactly Bright sick of the false labelling on here , lifes to short to waste watching this crap
This isn’t the first of these made, but it is nice. If you have the steering angle and caster correct you can really shred down hill.

Nice soft squishy ride if a rear swing arm were to be installed
Amazing. I'm from Philippines. Thanks for sharing
this is something else my friend welll done!
I like the simplicity of this design awesome
except the wheels need to turn at the hubs, like a car. In this design, the entire suspension turns and that takes up lots of space.
Now I just need a front basket for shopping items
Wow bro you've got a three tires jewell thanks for this delicious video I watched it twice
