So government should make rules to prevent traffic and introduce many good public transport like Buses...... And other step to develop Our country on wider level is to make Smart and Greenfield Cities and many as possible cause those cities will automatically remove burden from cities like Mumbai, Banglore, Delhi and Gurugram cause people will approach cities which are nearer from their Home town.... i never understood why govt didnt just ban traffic from entering market areas, i mean just one look at sarojini nagar market in delhi, where's something like rajouri garden or tilak nagar market in comparison? both unpleasant, unnecessarily and irritably noisier, more pollutive unlike the calm, collected and peaceful area that is sarojini nagar market. these "mafias" if any, are truly the detriment of cities because they only hurt themselves by not letting govt implement better policies.

Step 1 : start from ground
    1: remove beggars and slums
2: cleanliness is the major important thing (penalty for those who trash roads) - dustbins should be there in every 1000 m
3: the public washrooms should be available in every 7 km
4: replace auto and rikshawalas to taxis and e rickshaws
5: 2 child policy should be strict
6: govt should create jobs in cleanliness committee (beggars can be taught to clean )
7: planned transportation should be done step by step, replace Indian railways to intercity fast metros- like Switzerland)
    8: trams and new busses
9: artificial rains can reduce pollution- solar panel is good environmental solution
10: work life balance and health insurance should be mandate

Aap ne jo Hawkers / Thela ka baat kiya, mai usse fully agree nahi karta.
Aap sabko nahi hata pao ge.
Insted, Thela/Food Truck ke liye spaces phele se plan karna chahiye, har 100- 200m distance par,
taa ki Foot Path / Road par kisi ko Thela lagane ka zarurat naa pare.
Food Trucks bahut convenient hota hai, both buyer ke liye aur seller ke liye bhi, kyu ki agar uska buisness ek purticular area me nahi chal raha because of low demand to he/she can move to another place instantly.
We should not try to ban economic activity, we just need to Plan it properly, taa congestion na ho.

you have to consider that china has a massive land unlike india, which is smaller and mostly densed populated than china. Evergoing conflicts between states of india are also a problem. Our majority population depends up on roadside markets or small businesses rather than big and organized supermarkets, and if you remove those small vendors it'll impact our economy that's why its really difficult and time consuming to build rapidly like china.

I have a flat in society on 3 building, in mumbai such big building and with so much land is very less to see. But our building needs redevelopment any builder is offering us whatever percentage we want until they get to unauthorised hawker consisting small scale hotel for auto drivers, garage, tea stall has literally broke tye border wall and moved completely inside like we live in locality where their are no slums and no hawkers entirely residential and peaceful and their mandir hospital school. But still they come here slowly and when we file case they expect money or something as they we have been here for years. Builders now say they will offer us what we want if these hawker get out without much hustle and money.

Till the motive of the government either remains limited to freebies or religion such institutional changes will not take place.
